What I meant was, RL hired some well known track creators to make tracks for them. That's fantastic and all, but am I supposed to put them on the same level as a game developer?.. They are track developers.Originally Posted by RoguishRonin Go to original post
Cannibal Shogun made YouTube videos before being hired, again, not hating on the guy.. but now he's a game developer?
I think these forums have outlived their purpose. Now we get more Trials information from the Playstation store, or from broken english in livestreams.
What a great time to be a Trials fan.
Btw, I have uploaded over 1,000 Trials videos, and made a couple tracks.. So if anyone has any questions on game development, feel free to ask!

I'm not even sure what the actual point is here in the first place...? "Single lane multiplayer is coming soon, lets talk about who is a dev and who isn't"... Game dev, track dev. Guy that used to make tracks at home, now makes them in an office. I honestly don't care and see the need for someone to say who is or who isn't...It doesn't matter. I am doing a job. This job does not inquire me to be well known or anything. It requires me to do my job, just like every one else. I don't think we need to discuss who is what...Originally Posted by YeahimAwesome Go to original post
Also if you think all track creators do here is just make tracks, you are very very wrong.
Ps, on the funny side, I do have a t-shirt that says "Developer" on the back. Totally makes me a dev![]()
So, as a "track developer", I want to know step by step, what is the correct procedure in making new editor tools from the initiation to the final game working with the producers, programmers, game designers and testers? Also how do I test bugs in the game, spend a whole day figuring out how to reproduce it 100% of the time, debug the code and how shall I proceed when my code fix works?
And you are lecturing me about being passive aggressive, yeesh!Originally Posted by RoguishRonin Go to original post
Its strange that some of the few posts I made while actually in a good mood trying to joke around and have some fun are apparently the ones deemed inappropriate.
Guess i should go back to being angry and hating on the game. Seems the safer bet around here.
It seems to me that people need to grow up and stop being bitter that some of us from the Trials HD days actually got lucky enough to be employed by RedLynx. It's what every builder dreams for.
I suggest stop taking it out on those that did and let them do what they do.
Back on topic, yeah it's a shame that the old consoles aren't getting single lane, but it was also a shame when they turned off XBL for the original Xbox. Everything has a life cycle.
I can totally understand 360/PS3 owners feeling jipped for paying the same price as next gen and not getting the same support though. That's fully justified.
Well...
All i know is that i have uploaded hundreds of Trials videos so i consider myself to be an
Assistent- Community Manager/Public Relations Specialist, functioning at non official capacity.
Also.. my mom says im handsome and i have no reason to doubt her sincerity.
I would very much like to wish everybody a good day and leave you all with a plug for my fantastic Trials channel:
