Are future DLC's planned or are they open for suggestions?

Was thinking how cool it'd be if one of the DLC's was purely a Trials HD track pack complete with at least 10 fan favourite tracks and a few skill games.
Are RedLynx open to suggestions or do they want nothing but new and different tracks each time?(understandable and respectable).

A Trials HD pack would definitively be a needle mover and bring in the big bucks.

From previous experience, RL are open to suggestions. They won't actually use any of them (unless they planned to anyway) but sure, you can submit ideas!

There were great ideas submitted before Fusion was released, and with enough time to add them to the game, but they didn't. Seems to me that this is their game, they'll design it how they want, and if you don't like it... Oh well. We'll draw in new players with these features even if it means that we alienate our dedicated, long term fans and customers!

Games and DLCs are planned out well in advance. By the time games and specific DLC are revealed, you are usually looking at something that is fairly feature complete. A Trials HD pack, while suggested a bit by the community, would be a massive undertaking. The game engine in Fusion is not the same as the one used in HD, so even if tracks were exact 1:1 recreations, they wouldn't behave the same.

Currently, the best place to play Trials HD tracks is in Trials HD.

Are you referring to the 50 page thread on Fusion ideas written by the community and the one thing that stood out was using dead trees in the editor? You speak the truth here.
Certain suggestions may cost too much to implement for a small group of people who are big fans. However, looking at pages and pages of good ideas and seeing just about none of them carried out...was an eye opener.
I'm pretty sure with Evo...the ideas were listened to more. With different ownership, Redlynx ultimately does not call the shot. If they did, I believe Fusion would have been a big improvement of Evo. They have a talented staff, but ultimately sold out. I enjoy Fusion though. There are many good points to it, but so many blatant oversights.
Track central is HUGE for a lot of people on the forums, but only represents not even 1% today, of people who purchase the game on PS4 with 660k sold. It comes down to, if you were a developer..would you cater to the smallest percentage or try to sell more by adding tricks and challenges?

Agreed. I wouldn't want it tacked on to Fusion. A re-release on X1 & PS4 would be nice, though.

It's 18 pages for me, but I display a lot of posts. Lets have a look at some of the things from the first few pages of the suggestion thread that are present in Trials Fusion.

    1. A subscription feed to your favorite creators, perhaps a type of notification when a new build is released? (Using Custom Feeds)
    2. A leaderboard that is combined with all the consoles (via the Trials Portal website)
    3. tracks that are submitted in TC can be played on any console (there are limitations, of course)
    4. Bigger complexity bar
    5. Non case-sensitive gt when searching tracks.
    6. Search by track name.
    7. Only able to do tricks in tracks built for tricks. (Could care less about tricks) So, maybe a disable FMX button for tracks.
    8. Disable B button for skill games.
    9. No 30min "gigatrack 2" in multiplayer rotation (maybe a joke, but there is no Gigatrack 2)
    10. better structured object lists
    11. improved terrain editor
    12. favorites feed
    13. no more wrenches
    14. More emphasis on hard/extreme tracks. (have you seen Fire in the Deep?)
    15. More than two pieces of dlc
    16. In-game challenges
    17. One career leaderboard for every DLC instead Global + DLC mixed up
    18. Bigger Filesize for track creating
    19. Better opening song, I'm very sick of the current (yeah, I said it)
    20. Trials Profile/expanded player info
    21. Give players enugh cash to buy EVERYTHING by the time they have everything platinumed (prior to DLC)
    22. No extensively long "loading" screen just so the intro song can finish
    23. PREMIUM BOXED GAME, not arcade
    24. Possibility to add tracks on favorites
    25. I hope I can download this from Xbox Live Market Place!
    26. ATVs, bicycles, cars, unicycles, golf carts, etc
    27. I am a HUGE fan of FMX and I'm excited to see tricks added, but if any tricks are unrealistic I am going to be extremely disappointed
    28. More music sounds (in the editor)
    29. Letters in various sizes
    30. Dead trees

This is what is in the game that was suggested by forum users. It's also only from the first 3 of 18 pages as I didn't have the time to go through all of the posts just to put this whole "we made all these suggestions and all we got was dead trees" thing to rest. What is also important to note is that many of the suggestions in the thread were argued against by other players:

    No Gigatrack vs Longer Gigatrack
Retail game only vs Arcade game only
Easier to use editor vs More complex editor

There was a ton of back and forth, there were also full posts that were reposted and quoted, which isn't really new suggestion.

TL/DR: There is far more than just dead trees that were suggested by the community that was added to the game. There was a lot of thought put into what would be included, and we did use a lot of suggestions.

Tbh mate, if we knew how the game was going to be released then we would have suggested things like tournaments, sp mp, bike and rider customization etc
Obviously the gigatrack 2 issue has been done but you went a bit far and just removed all sp tracks from mp and normal custom tracks.
Maybe 1 person asked for a single lb?
All I can say is like the spine was ripped out of trials.

i mean cool list and all much appreciated . but maybe we assumed all this as going to be added to EVO , we need to be more clear next time .

    My 2 cents:

The problem is not to listen (or not) to suggestions and ideas. Having ideas is 1% of a great game. Then comes what is hard in game development: prioritization (which ideas do we kill), execution (how do we realize in game the initial idea, how well does it feel compared to the early vision), how do we keep a solid/continuous experience when we have to cut things everyday...

All these things are what separate "That would be cool"-dreamy-enthusiast-gamers from professional game devs who have to ensure that this game will be in time/in budget and appealing to enough gamers to be successful enough to allow us to do another game after this one

Of course we read the posts, listen to propositions, but between that and making it happen, there are so many obstacles...
When I started my career, someone in my team with a lot of experience told me that he was feeling his job was to have 10 ideas and to see 11 of them killed before birth

All-in-All: you shouldn't take that personally and that's not really relevant to blame a game dev team because there isn't most of the ideas that have been suggested.

    Cheers,
