I noticed in the patch notes for 1.8 that it's stated "spawning issues". So .....

I wonder if it got fixed should you reach Utkarsh in a game started with patch 1.8 .... ???

This doesn't however address how some folks did have a buzzer spawn prior to 1.8. There would need to be a more detailed discussion of how each player's game was being played at the time.

If you can´t find a buzzer in utkarsh its because of another failing system from ubisoft in this game , the spawn system , but you can trick it . Whenever you are at utkarsh go out of town so AJ pulls out his weapon and run a or fly with the wingsuit a few meters away and quick travel back to utkarsh and boom there you have the two buzzers wich supposed to be there .

Thanks for the tip (which is also what works normally for any safe location that should have a spawned vehicle - happens at Yuma's fort quite often). However it'll be awhile on this playthrough with 1.8 before reaching the north, but will keep it in mind.

I will state however that previously, I did operate out of Utkarsh on foot, and I never had a buzzer spawn with a fast travel return - did have a truck spawn however (which apparently has not happened to others).

I had some update download on Sunday morning so this morning before work I went back to Utkarsh to look and see if things had changed with the update. Nothing changed it was all the same. I will try playing with that trick to see if it will spawn anything.

    WOW, shocked.
I fast traveled to Utkarsh while in a buzzer just like I have done before to go try the little trick above. To my surprise when I ran down to the road there were 2 buzzers a pickup and a cargo truck all sitting there like the game intended. Amazing, this is definitely how the game was meant to be played vs having no Uktarsh transportation like I and many others have dealt with. The town is supposed to be important to the golden path and the player, who would of thunk it? I did absolutely nothing to trigger it. All that I had done from my last visit was yesterday morning I fast traveled from the empty no transportation road to yumas fortress like I have done a dozen times and then did some free roam on foot and buzzer hunting quests, chest, mask, fighting, etc. I then saved and did some more misc roam around last night without going to Utkarsh saved and then this morning I roamed around jumped in a misc buzzer at a misc mission location without doing the mission and shortly after fast traveled to the northern home of the golden path Utkarsh. Definitely a completely different game and playing experience when you have the transportation as intended vs having the glitched out useless Utkatsh. I have no recommendation to other players on how I for now got rid of this glitch. I believe that I had done everything above after my update load on Sunday morning. I have noticed more problems if anything as far as now I am having floating chests and chairs etc that I didn't have before. I just hope my Utkarsh remains this way for the remainder of my playing time spent on this game.

I explain why you found buzzers on utkarsh . Usually you load up a savegame saved at some outpost / fortress / town , then travel to utkarsh and no buzzer is there because the spawn system isent triggerd if you fast travel from one fast travel place to another . But you stepped out of a fast travel zone wich is a zone on the particular outpost / town / fortress where you started your savegame into the wild , did some free roaming to then travel to utkarsh . If you would have been traveling to utkarsh right after your savegame was loaded there would be no buzzer again until you leave the outpost / fortress / town zone once .

Will see what happens when I reach the north later in the game. However a question:

Were you in fact flying a buzzer, and while doing so, fast traveled to Utkarsh? Thanks.

Yes Mike I was flying around in a buzzer and while airborn in buzzer did the fast travel.
I am not positive that that is what changed clockner. I believe that I have done the exact same thing multiple times but couldn't guarantee it. I was going there to try what you said but when I got there it was corrected. I also don't feel that the patch download from Sunday was a factor but couldn't be positive about that either. Maybe a combination of the patch and then doing as clockner stated unintentionally was a change from the past.
I returned a couple times last night and it seems at this point that it is permanently fixed. Sooo much better game play with this being correct.

Thanks etccb - just wanted to understand if it was via fast travel.

I did a test last night with an old save that I had forgotten about (game play started w/ 1.5 patch upgraded to 1.8). Here's how that test went:

The saved game starts at Utkarsh. No spawned vehicles whatsoever. Okay ....
Walked out to the NW of Utkarsh, and after a bit checked the map - BINGO! One buzzer (the one on the road) and land vehicles had spawned.
Walked back to Utkarsh, past the pad where there should be a buzzer, and continued on the road to the other spawned locations and just a bit beyond - basically heading SE of town. Checked the map again and that other buzzer had spawned. So now there were two, and the other vehicles.

That was enough of a test on my part to determine one way to get buzzers at Utkarsh with patch 1.8. For whatever reason I know that with 1.5, walking back to Utkarsh didn't produce any buzzer in my previous experiences.
