    Disable wing suit?

    Hi
It deploys automatically at the worst times
Can't I disable eller remove it?
    Thanks

The only thing you can really do is make sure if you're sprinting when jumping off something DO NOT hold Shift down when doing so. Toggle Shift first, THEN run and jump.

The only time it should be a problem is when you have a very short or rough platform to jump off of, such as the spot in the caves in Hurk's Speak No Evil right after blasting through the wall.

Since Sprint and Wingsuit deployment are bound to the same key though, you cannot alleviate the problem via remapping bindings. You can't really do it via unbinding either, unless you're OK with not bein able to Sprint.

Unfortunately Ubi is very console-centric in their thinking. They want to simplify things as much as possible with controls via these dual purpose bindings, which tends to muck up things on PC.

In my opinion the "auto open wingsuit function" is realy weak and needs to be removed asap . From time to time i found myself opening the wingsuit in the worst situations too . For example when iam starting to build momentum with sprinting before i jump off a ledge to do a takedown from above when hold on sprint a milisecond to long the wingsuit opens and it´s gonna end in a disaster . There is no need for such a feature . In far cry 3 everything worked fine and i never had those kind of fails with the wingsuit like i have from time to time in far cry 4 . But it´s like fragmaniac said , the far cry franchise are basically console games since far cry 3 with lazy *** pc port , its sad , but its the truth .

It's not auto open, if you tap vs hold sprint to toggle it your chances of it happening greatly diminish.

I understand it's a bit counter intuitive for many to tap/toggle vs hold sprint though, which is what cases the accidents a lot.

Well yeah it´s not auto open if you will so but there is no need that the wingsuit "auto opens" if your running of a ledge without additional tapping . In Far Cry 3 you needed to make an addional tab for the wingsuit to open and this was perfect .

Yep, got to learn to Tap and NOT Hold when it comes to running vs Wingsuit deployment... it could get embarrassing at times

Bloody ridiculous having to perform keystrokes in order for something NOT to happen

You can always remap the wingsuit to a different unused key. It's not a big deal.
