So, two months on RAID vehicles, and one of five my main game objectives are done - FULL SET of Platinum Parts for RAID spec are collected.
All parts [40 - 50] LVL, with all possible bonuses each.
Go ahead of some questions:
a) no, i am not idiot, maybe, just.... some kind of paranoia
b) no, i not hope, that someone look this boring video from a-z, it is just in case, if someone doubt about my words.
Just some kind of proof.
With all lvl50 parts and all bonuses. If you choose the lowest parts for your car in HQ,then go in freeride, open your smartphone go to parts and let the game choose your parts, lvl50 will be selected.
1)Is it always the same bonus chosen or random?
2)Is it the best mix you can do with parts or it's always random?
3)So many other questions![]()
@SERHAN-UYSAL
Time to complete Full set - 2 months, no, no, it not mean, that i all the time grind parts.
I mostly grind Race Lines, sometimes Hill Climb and few Escapes.
About parts and bonuses drop - user Edd.Dragon make good work and some research in one thread(link below), also he make graph, that show possibility of part drop in %:
http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...s-Oh-My!/page2
I very good remember, how i hunt for last part for my full set - 46LVL speed bonus weight reduction, in one hour i get 8 (eight) 50lvl parts - 5 grip bonus, 2 acc and 1 speed, and no one 46lvl parts. It is real luck, sometimes you get 50lvl with first try, sometimes spend 2 hours and no one 50lvl parts drop. So, yes, it is luck.
My the longest grind for full set of gearbox - 3 evenings after work in row, each evening about 4 - 5 hours, totally more then 10h i spend to collect full set of gearbox parts.
@Wnk.fr
Sorry, i am not try do that. I always prefer all 11 car parts with grip bonuses - maybe cars are less speed, but they become notable stable. But take in mind - i am very average driver, use AT and all helps. I don't known how it changes when in sport or hardcore mode.
1) Last in the list of parts.Originally Posted by Wnk.fr Go to original post
2) Only you can decide that mix is a best for the specified car with your skills.
Usually there are 2 sets:
- all speed (or almost all)
- set that you have collected for the first time
I used Dirt Skyline with "3S+3A+5G" from December. Just random set (I recollected brakes bonuses only). At that time I thought that bonuses don't much matter.
But it turned out that this is a cool set for this car, while you not experienced enough.
Only in this month I collect all speed bonuses for Dirt. And now Skyline became a noticeable different car.
If you see that you slide in corners then you need more grip instead of speed. If you can to avoid excessive slipping then you probably want maximize top speed.
Anyway, any car has potential benefits from speed bonuses. But not any car need grip bonuses (some cars have excessive stability and understeering even without grip bonuses and in Sport mode).
Usefulness of "A" and "B" bonuses is under doubt.
those acceleration bonuses are nothing to sneeze at, as a fellow level 50 gotta catch em all part collector i can vouch for cars with all 50 acceleration parts on races with lots of turns since you'll never be at top speed on those races anyway. and to wnk, that was a great idea to see if the mobile tuner would assign parts based on type but sadly edd is right. when i tried it on my raid ruf with all level 30 bronze parts it wanted to put all level 50 speed parts on. and they rank in drecreasing order from speed, acceleration, grip and last is braking. i have all the level 50 braking parts for every spec as well but oddly enough not one of them is equipped on any of my carsOriginally Posted by Edd.Dragon Go to original post![]()
Yes, make self objectives are last thing that can make this game life longer.
I still dont known what i will do after collect full parts sets will be done.
PvP? Boring, the same tracks again and again. And why, where is target?
Faction missions? The same as with PvP.
Cruising? Not bad idea, to all places where I need reach I drive, not use fast travel, my overall mileage now are about 60k km (although in stats overall mileage stuck at about 37 140km more than two months in row, but mileages in each region calculated correctly), i am soon for some regions reach TDU2 condition - i can cruise without GPS.
At least for parts collecting you can choose from huge amount skills.
Other problem - Where to spend money? I am now buy full sets for cars, no other way where to spend money. Sad - Las vegas without virtual casino (i mean alike tdu2 Casino island)![]()

11 parts x (1 x Bronze + 4 x Silver + 4 x Gold) = 99 parts of 1 level for 1 spec
All parts from 2-nd to 10-th level: 891 pcs!
I am so happy that this levels for Street cars only! )))
And this is 11 x 9 = 99 skill tasks. To get 9 parts in each of them you need to repeat each task about 20 times.
In the total, collection of all parts of 2-10 level need about 25-30 hours (about 2000 runs) of skill tasks.
11-20 level need 30 h for Street + 30 hours for Dirt
And so on... )))))
But low-speed Street grinding is really fun after you have completely forgotten what it is.
1. Low-level street Mini has highly accurate steering.
2. By definition, skills with parts of 2-9 lvl are designed for Street (because only Street can have this parts)
But most of them you even didn't try in low-level Street car.
I found one task in that you can't to get gold using low-level Street cars and most of the full charged Street cars.
It seems that this is a design mistake.
In another tasks, on the other hand, you can get almost into Top100 using low-level Mini ))
3. Also you can try to complete broken "Slalom" awards and to practice in different driving modes.
Of course, this activity can be very bored in overdose!
