On today's stream is was mentioned that you guys were looking into ways to giving back to us players for our patience surrounding the problems which each DLC released thus far. I figured i might as well make a little post giving a suggestion to something that i (and many others) would like to see as this possible reimbursement. I understand that it has been mentioned a few times (mainly in the livestream chat) and that you devs may not want to hear it but im going to suggest it anyway.
The Trials Legacy Pack
This DLC pack would include a few things:
- All editor objects from Evo/HD
- Helmets/outfits from Evo (for in-game currency and NOT free)
- Phoenix/Scorpion bike body kits
- Micro Donkey Bike
The addition of editor objects as a way to reimburse players for problems with DLC may sound a little selfish at first since not a great deal of people affected by the issue will be avid builders, but when you look a little deeper, the new objects will actually benefit everyone when you consider all of the new tracks/themes that will be showing up on track central and available for EVERYONE to play since the DLC pack will be free.
The pack would allow editors to create non-futuristic tracks with ease without having to be a top tier builder (because although being able to build the types of stuff that some people build is insanely impressive, its more beneficial to the entire community if there tracks are EASIER to produce because it means MORE quality tracks). I dream of a day that we see the diversity of themes that we used to see on Evo, in Fusion. This pack would make my dream a reality.
The helmets and outfits would hold the same store value that they had in Evo, meaning we will finally have something to spend our in-game currency on.
The micro donkey will be a new usable bike within Trials Fusion. The first new bike since release even though we are now 4 DLC's in. Its about time we started filling in those empty garage slots with bikes that people actually want to use.
That is all.![]()
Hi bud
the suggestion of a dlc as a means of reimbursement is a good idea but your suggestion for actually what the dlc contains is only a reimbursement for people who played or owned evo or evo hd. I would imagine its not as easy as just transporting them over ,the quality of the objects and bike would most likely have to be redone to fit the next gen consoles and its graphics. The problem has been with fusion so therefore the reimbursement should be in the form of a fusion design and the way this game has gone and not the way a previous game was. Let it go man
New bikes sound good but new bikes like the one that is often seen around in digital images of fusion future , that looks soooo cool Mind you the donkey does look fun tho so wouldnt bother me either way but i dont want old stuff i would like new stuff thats new to the game of trials.
Saying all that , anything would be sweet , maybe some real wood.
I wanna be a real boy![]()
How can you even say that. A DLC pack with over 100 objects for someone who has never played Evo is arguably better than for the people that have. Why would you assume only people who have played past games would enjoy the objects that this DLC pack would offer? Even you yourself stated in your post that you would like some wood... This DLC would provide that wood.Originally Posted by funktastic- Go to original post
Yes, very ambitions, but suggestions are allowed to be ambitions. If you don't at least ask then it will never happen.Originally Posted by Gangly_ Go to original post![]()
I can say that because thats what i dont want , im not going to say i want something if i dont want it lol nevermind if 100 people dont agree with me. I dont need to have played evo to have seen the hundreds of tracks that all have a dirt apeal to them or paint falling off , some would be good agreed but we already have rustland and now this earthy dlc. I dont care what anyone has to say about the quality of evo , agreed it was proberbly brilliant but the tracks to me seemed completely the same. Everyone i watched on you tube had me close to ringing in the paint and decorators. I sometime wonder just how many scrapyard track were made on evo lol.
just mesing around bud , anything would be cool just not all evo stuff it would honeslty bore me all that old stuff.![]()
@Funk: You are being really defensive about this. You are only against the idea, because you've heard that Evo is better than Fusion so many times in the past. The fact is that everybody would benefit from having those objects available to them. And claiming the tracks all looked the same is ridiculous, when Evo didn't even have an environmental theme besides 'out of the warehouse'. Your personal bias against the game, which you have never played, is far too easy to recognize.
But, yes, it's a bit ambitious.
Would be happy to see the Donkey back... most fun and frustrating bike in the world.Originally Posted by Jonny Go to original post![]()
Funk, more importantly....why haven't you played Evo? Get yourself back to HD....complete the endurance tournament....download Evo and play through all the tracks on Donkey....until Gigatrack which we all know still isn't possible despite what Darknova says.
You are missing out on a treat by not playing Evo. Jesus wept!
