    here's what we got so far.

    Slipknot might not be that far off... they are classified by less-snobby metal aficionados as "extreme metal" and since Dan kept calling 3DG "metal or alt metal" on the stream, the scope seems pretty broad as to what is and isn't metal to them. Slipknot would certainly be extreme in comparison.

    Their bassist passed away a few years ago. his name was Paul Grey and they named their new album after him (.5 - The Grey Chapter)

    Since we are supposed to use all of the letters, it is technically an anagram, but might be better to use the L shape movement to limit the possibilities
