You didn't have to win first try. Once you start the race, you can keep spending tickets until you beat them or run out of tickets.

Yes you do. I've had exactly the same thing happen as iviarkD had and I'm on iOS. Once the time is up it won't let you try again. Maybe you had a glitch.

You both are right! sometimes when you run out of tickets (those 5 free tickets) there is a pop-up message saying "Connection Timeout" but sometimes there is not notification and you can keep playing using golden tickets without quitting the track. the same thing happens about the gifts sometimes it throws a message like "gifts successfully sent" (or something like that) and sometimes it doesn't...

Thanks for the continued support / hope / belief..... I had one very generous master (rank 12 on android.... that is some serious awesomeness) let me have a match after we raised nearly 100k in coins. After a set of brutal smashings at the hands of the 5 consecutive masters I had picked up (I mean really, 5 in a row....) it was a major spirit lift. Back to level 4 with 5 stars..... Days seem to be running away very quickly....

Man I tried to let you win again lol! There were still 3 faults I think with an hour left, I figured youd take em back again! I didnt know you were on the forums otherwise I wouldve told you to take the mext matchup as well. Hope you can get there!

I wasn't going to publicly out you in case there was retribution....

I had a soccer coaching course that ran all day here...... and it was 32 degrees and hot as. The course finished at 4:15..... and the showdown finished at 4:10. I was pretty sure you were looking to help me out again but the time fell apart for me...... Why are there other responsibilities in life outside games!!!!

As much as I like the idea, randomly landing on a kind stranger is one thing, but to manipulate the system to get my mates to let me win is probably not in the spirit of getting to 1..... I think at this stage I want to either make it or fall trying (If I randomly catch a match against you, I am happy for you to throw it then though.....)

Cheers to the whole frontier community - the personal nature of the 1v1 battles is a whole new spin on trials for me...... Those golden tickets sure run out fast when you are .1 down with 10 minutes to go.....

It's all good mate, it's not so easy matching up to people anyway. I had 2 games ' handed' to me on my road to Legends lb, I had to start 20 games to actually find my opponent though. There's no prestige in this for me, I just want the new tracks as fast as I can get them.

I hated this extension... I was stuck on rank 5 for almost 2 weeks and i could just not get past it and wanted the season to end so I could get rewards.
Now within 4 days I went from rank 5 to Legends ... with only 3 showdowns a day .... got a winning streak going which pushed me there ...

Looks like a glitch, but wow is that a long season.

Wow, it would be easier to just make us all legends right now if that's how long the next one is.
