Thanks for your believe in my skills xzample, but I know fully well the limitations of my abilities.... and my piddly phone screen.... The other problem with coming up against masters is that they generally have bikes upgraded further than me, so the playing field is skewed that little bit more. Yes there should be an advantage to being super committed and having your bikes maxxed, but when races are decided by tenths and hundredth of seconds it is highly annoying to know it is bike performance and not skill being the difference (also if gives me an excuse for sucking, and I hates having excuses...)

An idea like this needs to go into Fusion..... I play frontier a lot more than fusion atm given the season concept, even with MP started

Better the extension, than the bunker crashing at the end of the season and losing our rewards!

Thanks for the info. I'm quite ok with the extension even if it is more than 5 days.

    Thanks RedLynx devs.

this. ive smashed some people around 250 legend. the other day a guy at rank 1 nicked me with less than a minute to go, i took it back, but man it got the heart pumping. just keep playing those matches and you will get there

Yeah, you just cant tell how good someone is going to be on that given day; I've had plenty of Legends that simply laid down and died, and some rank 4's that fought like demons. About the only time legends ranking has meaning is when you are talking about the top 50 or so (probably even smaller).... those are the guys who truly care to maintain rank and have the ability to do so if they put their mind to it, IMO. I myself am not in that category and have somehow wandered into the mid-60s at the moment....which is why I know the serious people must be higher up.

Funny how every day the same thing happens...Yesterday I started at the low 70s but lost about 7 points of rank throughout the day... and then my matches complete and I move up 15 to the low 60's... and then lose 7-8 points of rank thorough the day... etc. Rank seems to be more... fluid... than I expected.

I know this feeling. Normally I'm pretty careful but about a week or so ago, against a rank 4, I got careless. The showdown was coming to an end, about 2 mins left, and he had 1 track and I had 2. I'd let him keep the 1 because I was so sure of my times on the other two and I thought I might as well let him collect some extra chips. Then, with 25 seconds left, he took one of my tracks. This was a showdown that I had carried chips to from a previous ping pong loss so I had about 1500 chips and the pot was at about 70k. My heart jumped out of my chest lol.

Luckily, if you start a run before the clock runs out it allows you to finish that run before it decides who's won. So I started a run with 20 seconds left, on Well Park with the Marauder. Obviously once the track had loaded and the starting countdown had finished there was about 10 seconds left, so I had to win on the first run. Somehow I managed to take the win, just, and with it the showdown. Closest call I've ever had, literally took the win after the showdown was over.

You didn't have to win first try. Once you start the race, you can keep spending tickets until you beat them or run out of tickets.

That's weird. I'm 100% sure I spent multiple tickets, and when I was done, it just showed dashes as the time when I looked at it. Came back to the Bunker and it showed the match was over. The only other explanation is I happened to get a run I was happy with just before the time stopped, which is unlikely but possible.

has anyone noticed how previously the season would end at 11pm GMT on Sunday night, and now it ends on 11am GMT Monday morning? I don't mean actual dates or a week prolongation, but specific time and day of the week. this would have been 7pm Sunday East Coast time in US, and now it's 7am Monday. not very convenient, is it?

does this mean Ubi/RL want to take longer break before they re-launch? possibly till Monday night, or worse - till Thursday same week, just as it was first time around? or maybe all the way till next weekend?..
