@xzamples
Try look at it from my point of view
I post within this forum i post rants , i debate and i also post other friendly comments and a far amount of them , if i then have a person who i dont know from adam continue to try and debate with me over every issue that i post will no doubt make a person start to wonder just what is the inttentions of that person. It can become annoying that they always find something wrong with a post. You have comment on the way i post how i post and what i post about , that is more or less as awhole something in which does seem odd. If i was to repsond to everyone one of your post with a contradiction or a debate in which is awlays an opposing side then i am sure you your self you would also think that there is something odd about that and take the stand that i am purely trying to get on your case.
I too also like debating and i can understand that , as it goes i never actually thought you are a bad person or anything more just like an annoying kie who needs to be told to pack it in. I dontmean to sound like a plonker but thats the way it does come across when you continue to point out everything that you disagree with which from my side seems like its almost everything that i stand for. I do remember you commenting on one of my tracks now you mention it and i am thankful for that. Yes i tend to speak my mind and not in a great way , and if someone is doing my nut in i will tell them as i have told you but surely this is somthing i hope you understand that you might cause your self.
Calling you hitler was wrong and i opologise but i was just very annoyed at again seeing that you have highlight my posts out. My be its because you know i will speak my mind in which makes a better reading and experience of being online unlike reading nice post.
I dont mind at all you picking my posts out if you simply just find interaction a good thing and know that you will get it from me , but please understand without knowing you , without having this continue and go through this point i am going to think that its is a random stranger just using the fact that i am a vocal person and i cant be blamed for thnking that either.
I dont get offended easily dispite what i say on here , 1 min it will do my nut in and the next min i am great mates with them. A spit and shake gesture would be fitting but has i cant put my hand through the screen i will just have toat you.
just forget about it , if what i said caused you any grief then i sincerly apologise and i will in future take your constant replies as just a means of discussion and the fact you know you will get inetraction from me and nothing more.![]()
@Funk:
I understand your point of view, but I am not intentionally seeking out your posts. I would respond to any person who has a negative opinion of Trials Evo or considered that tire glitches weren't as bad as people make them out to be. You have to understand that both of those stands are something I am very opposed to, so I felt the need to respond. As for my comments on your posting style: It was meant to be constructive criticism, not an attack of any kind.
From this point on, just know I have a reputation of being an argumentative person, especially if I'm passionate about the topic being discussed. You're not the first person to be subjected to it, and you won't be the last. It's just the way I am. But, I do try to keep myself level-headed and respectful while debating with others.
No hard feelings.![]()
So this challenge is basically unobtainable then?Originally Posted by moldy_tomato Go to original post
Edit- wait, in the actual track if you didn't jump high enough you would get whammed at 2nd cp. I think you have to jump over that.
Um... no, I was only joking about the difficulty.Originally Posted by Retribution Go to original post
It was fine when I attempted it with the Rabbit, but I couldn't make a certain jump with it.
I'm not sure why it glitched out on me. Maybe I activated the challenge before the train had completely stopped?
You havent actually ever really been disrespectful in your opposition towards my post i agree with you on that. Just that i have had a few that seem heel bent on trolling me in similar way. But now i know why it seems the way it does then thas cool. Again i shouldnt have been disrespectful towards you my self dude. Im just an old fart with a quick temper sometimes. Please dont let this put you off responding or opposing anythng of mine in the future.
Glad we sorted it , cool beans![]()
From what i can see with the DLC is that Redlynx have made the challenges and platinum medals harder, which is a good thing as before you could get 0 fault on a hard track with a really bad time and still get a platinum so I'm glad they've made platinum medals more of a challenge to get.
They focused too much on the design of the game over the actual line itself, there are so many tire grabs/glitches on the actual line it makes me wonder how much the testers actually played the tracks to see if the line is smooth or not. I can think of at least 10 places on the line where there are significant tire grabs on landing or just driving along the object.
I guess a tip for future DLC's, don't use rocks much. TIps for next game, make rocks not glitchy.
I think the skill game is pretty good, but to get to the challenging part of the skill game it takes like 6 minutes of riding boring stuff, usually the longer the better but I think the difficulty should have increased a little bit quickly. Apart from that it's pretty good, i like the idea of it and I love 'in flames' skill games as they require skill compared to other Redlynx skill games.
I like that there are more tracks, keep the number of tracks going up each DLC pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee, the more the better value the DLC is! More pieces of clothing/ bike customization please
Starting to get irritated with repetitive challenges like unyielding, complete track backwards, etc. Its almost as if the guys at RL find faulting...fun. Need more challenge like full throttle, complete this track in 0f on a different bike, something that actually takes skills while having to do with the core of regular Trials. And yes i know i "don't" have to do the challenges, but that's irrelevant.
As for the skill game, lets look at the hill climb- theres only like 1 or 2 guys at the top of the leaderboard. Grinding, but non-repetitive. Same goes for the Free-Fallin skill game, no one has gotten to the end. Id rather have a skill game where the difficulty curves over one line and make it near impossible to get to the end than ride in laps with little increment of difficulty in each. To each their own i guess.
From my experience with the dlc is that plat times are not consistent in difficulty. Some medium tracks are pretty hard to get a platinum on while on others it took me like 1-2 tries. And there are several other people saying the same thing. Even on hard tracks it was alot easier than medium ones, but since they are set differently on each difficulty I don't think I should really compare those.
I would also avoid those rocks on the speedrun line or at least use a custom collision on them when they make or break a speedrun. They make it unnessecearly random wether you loose grip on them or not in my opinion and it's probably one of the reasons some platinum times feel alot harder to get. Either that or I'm just doing something wrong.
Just wanted to say that this DLC is my favourite so far, the tracks look sweet and really nice drivelines! Big up to RedLynx, they have really raised the bar with this DLC!
Love the rundown steampunk city look on some of the tracks like "Downtown Fracture" & "Bottom Dweller". A much better look than the shiny metal of the original tracks i think![]()
I had major problems with molten lava rocks in Tectonic Jolt, about 2 in 5 times that place had messed me up majorly... I feel like I can't nail a complete run on it either because there is a bit after where you go up some more molten rocks too have tire glitched me. Same with the pipes in the extreme track, I had some issues with them too...
This DLC is the best one for me so far, I love the more tracks that are med to hard based as they are my favourite difficulties in trials.
The objects seem more better gor me building wise too, I guess it caters more to builders on the game more than it does the people that don't use them.
The challenges were more worthwhile in this dlc for sure too... aside the bronco one... it was funny at first but then it got annoying fast.... Unfortunately. I am grateful for the dlc though cause it didn't just have the tracks, you had Zudina's giving a back story to the tracks too.
I can't wait for more tbh.
