Oh yeah i know bud i know its not just a random thing you guys have just slung together , but it does leave it open for tracks which are not payable for the majority of the users within track central to be at the top but how can they be classed as a majoirty playable experience which dosent really represent a true reflection on what the track of the week is initially for in the way i saw it. I saw it as a place for it to tell me of quality tracks and so forth not really place to judge tracks which only a small amount can actually play. This is a never ending topic really just never looks good to me for the interface of something thats playablitty factor is suppose to be the main factor. Whats the point of such tracks actually being at the top for people to see if they cant play them so thats why i see the system as faulty

yeah bud i get you , i was only messing around anyway , i also agree that people should judge tracks on a whole bunch of reasons and not just because then can pass it. Lots of peolle create tracks like these and yes they do get most likes but in essence anybody can create a passable track and i find these track which are quality in standards alittle repetative. I start to make one but end up chucking things in it for fun and so forth because i get bored but then the track ends up being mixed lol and not the solid flowy speedrun i wanted

I never got called out (or called anyone out) , for thumbs down.

Most of the time TC sorts itself out fairly well on determining good/bad tracks but there are times it feels like the majority votes up everything in sight including nearly empty tracks & xp tracks.

I'm pretty critical of judging tracks tho, maybe cause I build/play for a long time now, I've seen all sorts of tracks, and developed some harder judgement.

The problem is you only have 2 choices.. you either like it or you don't. The evolution star system was better as there was in effect 5 choices.

Exactly. This is what ive been saying all along. The highest rated feed on Evo plays itself out very well (could have been better with a separate ninja feed) but yeah it was more balanced this way and i will defend that to my death instead of the 'Facebook' system that Fusion uses currently.

Also, this is why i watch the top replay of every custom before i load it up. If i like what i see, ill play and rate it. If i don't, then i didn't waste any time playing it. This is probably why there are Fusion customs with over 2,000 downloads but only 100 likes/20 dislikes.

Don't let anyone "bully" you to only give good feedback or no feedback at all. Rating system is there for honest opinions and some people are more harsh than others, but with a lot of users it balances out.

Don't worry I don't feel bullied, I thought it was petty thats all.

I think if he asked like that I would just tell him it was a all round bad track. I used to be nicer but now I just say it how I see it, friend or unknown.

Funk, if anyone ever tries that with me, they shall be getting told to go forth and multiply, in a less eloquent manner...if somebody makes a bad track, i will down vote it, it is my opinion and if anyone ever tries to interfere with that, then i start to troll them, hard. not the right way to do things, but, its my way.

with regard to tracks, if a line is bad, then it will always get a down vote from me, i don't care how much time has been spent on a track, if i don't like it, i don't like it, I'm not fussy about a theme or making the background look nice, as long as you can see the bike & rider at all times, and there is either a nice flow, or some good technical things...that is what i look for - i for one know that almost any track i am to make will be less than 50% positive, because i create the line, which isn't always great, but often just don't get round to decorating it at all because i know I'm not a good builder and i prefer to just play

the best thing to do is block the clown over XBL, who cares if you offend someone who obviously cant take criticism, they don't deserve anything aside from a tirade of abuse, which could get you in trouble, so just ignore them and carry on as you were mate, aside from the occasional wall of text that makes my head hurt, you've done nothing wrong in my eyes or indeed anyone who matters eyes
