Someone posted on here about adding 16:10 support, and I think today's 38MB patch did the job. That's good. However, where's the 21:9 FOV control? It's incredible that every single aspect ratio and resolution has FOV control, except 21:9 resolutions. The game is very unplayable at default FOV and the idea that the FOV has been locked for 21:9 is very, very odd. Why is this not being addressed? It should be a quick thing to fix, surely!? It's really unfair that this is the only modern game that has bare minimum 21:9 support.
I would be grateful for any kind of reply. Thank you.
What's wrong with 16:10 at the moment? I saw it as available and saw it had FOV control. Of course, I've not really tried it (having a 21:9 monitor).Originally Posted by bahMiRK Go to original post
That still happening? I found that bug very, very annoying when I first played the game at 16:9 (I had a 16:9 monitor during the game's release but upgraded in mid-December).Originally Posted by KantlaK Go to original post
I can picture half a dozen programmers looking at the code for the game in its current spaghettified mess of bad programming practice, unable to trace where these bugs originate from. I don't blame developers for shipping games with bugs, as these are natural. However, Far Cry 4 has had a very shaky release in terms of support for core features like non-16:9 displays, Eyefinity/Surround, FOV control that works, SLI, Crossfire, some level of optimised performance, etc.
