Nothing you said about your own specs is relevant here.
Nothing you said about problems with DX11 titles makes a difference either, UNLESS companies are warning their customers ahead of time that this is a problem. DX11 has been out since 2008; are you claiming that it should be obvious that games running on a 6 year old version of directx would have a hard time on today's machines? That's.....odd. Odd is the right word, right?
As far as the disclaimer about laptops, i've already addressed that. In any event...software is non-returnable once opened/installed...soooo what point are you making by showing me that this disclaimer appears in a readme file that you just admitted installs with the game @_@?
p.s. I've been building computers since DOS as well. I actually refurbish and resell laptops for money in my spare time. I know quite a bit about computers. But it doesn't take a computer genius to realize that when your computer exceeds all minimum specs of a game and doesn't run well on its lowest settings, there's a problem. It doesn't take a lawyer to realize that it's unethical for a company to KNOW this is the case with laptops and not make every effort to warn a huge laptop gaming market of this BEFORE it has purchased the game. This is seriously common sense stuff, and it frankly makes me shake my head in wonder at how anyone can be defending Ubisoft over this. This really has nothing to do with tech knowledge. It is simply a case of poor game design and misleading advertising.
fine sir what is the laptop specs and GPU you have ?
you have not posted that information
it can easily be found on many sites as to what the GPU in your laptop is capable of ..
please post your specs ...
this information is listed on the bottom of your laptop ...as to model number
as well as manufacturer
That's fine, but I'd still appreciate an answer about how you explain a 3X difference in frame rate with these same specs, between FC3 and FC4. Pretty sure that posting my specs will just result in a subjective conversation with no real data to back it up, and we'll still be left without an explanation as to the 3X frame rate discrepancy.

well sorry to tell ya sir but your laptop GPU well .. is pretty LOW END
i can prove my point via this web page

please note this portion of the page
Performance
The performance of the GT 555M is highly dependent on the version of the card (see above). The 3DMark 06 performance, for example, ranges from 8857 points (Lenovo Ideapad Y570) to 13000 points (MSI GX780R). For all intents and purposes, the GT 555M in the Lenovo is therefore essentially a fast GeForce 550M. The average GT 555M (with 144 shaders) is positioned in the lower high end class and enables users to play demanding games in high settings at 1366x768. Only Metro 2033 had to be played in lower settings during our benchmark tests (see below).
with only 144 pixel shaders you are way below what the minimum spec of the game requires for an nvidia card
min spec card = a GTX 460
please note the number of cuda core = pixel and vertex shader units

also on the card you're running it uses ,,, yes on board system ram... ddr 3 on some models .. not faster ram that is a dedicated Gddr 5 type of ram ..
if in fact it is a DELL system they are mass marketed mainstream systems .. not gaming laptops ...and i would guess its using just your DDR3 as shared ram
your CPU is also under the min spec of a quad core 2.6Ghz CPU
your laptop also came out in 2011 and was priced as a mainstream Dell XPS system

so sir,,,, i am sorry to tell you you do not own a gaming laptop that will fully support far cry 4 ...
