Hello, I have been requested to move my previous thread, however I don't see the option to move it, so I'm creating a new thread here in the appropriate section of the forum.
I am building a track, featuring lots of physics, animations, and a massive killer robot attacking the bridge. It is being build on Xbox 360.
The robot will be fully animated the entire track, there will be programmed cut scenes (timed showcase of the robot destroying the bridge per section) and there is also the option to press LB at any time, to view what the robot is doing. This will take time of course, so how you play the track will determine your outcome. Complete the track in time to reach the button that launches a missile strike against the robot, take too long and the robot destroys the button, destroying your chances of victory.
I am taking advantage of multi driving lines, and they switch randomly so that every time you play the track, you will be riding a different sequence of track sections.
I am keeping focus on the driving line, and the obstacles ridden on the track. I want to make sure it is fast, fun, yet challenging.
I have designed my robot very carefully, and have made sure that it somewhat makes sense, as it is the main feature of the track.
Feel free to ask questions, I'm obsessed with this track, and I would love to talk more about it!
Here is some teaser photos, I will be filming a teaser trailer and posting it to Youtube soon, I will then share it here as well.

Well, the way I wanted to animate my robot isn't going to work due to the physics bubble. I was going to attach each limb with physics joints... But that is pointless as the robot is nowhere near the physics bubble...
So, it looks like I have to do the whole animation with object position events. Anyone who knows the editor would know, I've got my work cut out for me!
Oh well, onwards we strive!
Well... I just got the fire in the deep dlc... Wow, all those robotic parts! I have to rebuild my robot now, this will help bring back the track performance on my track, as my current massive robot is not cooperative due to the amount of object I used to build him. My current robot's mass is off the charts, and the xbox doesn't have the processing power to lower the mass, so this dlc and it's content have saved the day!
I'm putting out a robot track, whichever way I can.
It's kinda sad having so much dlc's that can split up the community. I feel like the game would have been alot better off with no dlc content. Specially because there is so much user generated content.Originally Posted by JolanXBL Go to original post
