This is actually hilarious. I bought my first game from Ubisoft, finished it in a week, and started thinking Uplay is not that bad. Was about to get a copy of Black flag and now my Far Cry 4 key got banned....
I'm buying my games from one site for years, steam, blizzard and even ea games all working perfectly. But Ubisoft decided that they can pull sh.t like that and stay all clean and pretty.I don't really care about losing that money, but punishing your customers for not buying directly from you, this is BULLSH.T
I will never buy another Ubisoft game.
I'm never buying another Ubisoft game again. Nor will I ever shop from G2A again (whom has done nothing to refund me or provide me with a new, legitimate key). With all the people out there downloading from torrent sites, you'd think Ubisoft would not revoke the codes that made it to paying consumers regardless of how they acquired them from retailers. Thumbs down, Ubisoft.
Holy CRAP! WTH Ubisoft? I feel sorry for everyone affected by this poor choice in management. I am in utter disbelief that this is even a thing. So your company is already looked down upon for crappy products rushed to market and then left to rot once everyone gets tired of complaining and waiting for you to fix it. Then you go and do something like this? I was not affected, but this news coupled with my less than satisfactory experience with FC4 and being forced to use the crapware that is Uplay in order to play your games I highly doubt I'll be purchasing anymore of Ubisoft products.
If they want to fix the problem, go after sites like G2A, or region lock your keys just like Steam did!!
But no, good old Ubishaft will go after the consumer, and when they submit support requests, they'll just say "the higher ups said no"
Well i've got news for you Ubisoft. I'm not stopping still i get my money back, or my game. Now i know you won't give my money back, so the game. please.

Ubisoft, Pewdiepie and G2A. Thought you might be interested.
That's a really good article, thanks for sharing.Originally Posted by hdme Go to original post
On the point of YouTubers and G2A. i know of a number of YouTubers who are G2A affiliates, yet when it comes to Ubisoft games such as FC4 and Unity, Ubisoft was sponsoring their videos, when they did a first impressions!

I purchased my key directly from G2A, so according to what i read, it should be a valid and legal key.
And because of the large numbers of YouTubers supporting the site, and the fact that it still exists - i bought FC4 there.
Ubisoft honoured my key, and then they Ubishafted me. Now that i've done some research, after buying the game. They're not stolen keys, they're just bought in cheaper countries. All ubisoft need to do is region lock game purchases, like Steam did. But no, instead they go after us.
The only thing criminal around here is what Ubi charges for their Uber****
And because they write it on their webside, it's legit? Don't be such naive - they are able to write anything they want on their homepage. Just google "G2A sold me fake/stolen key".Originally Posted by nelboy66 Go to original post
They also sold fake Gold-Editions at the release of Far Cry 4. Just search this forum for the threads after the release.
