FC4 not showing on Uplay software but on the ubisoft site?

Dear Support and other Forum people,

I purchased FC4 from G2A about a couple of days after last christmas. The game was running fine all day yesterday. Today Uplay required a re-activation. I googled for help and apparently a reinstall is the fix. Did not work. The reinstall removed the game, i re-entered the key and it says they key is invalid and got banned. Is it normal problem for some people? Opened a ticket and contacted G2A. They require a statement from Ubi support. How long does support take to contact back?

This is really annoying, G2A has been good to me, shadow or mordor runs fine so that key is legit, how is this key not? The website shows I own the game so why isn't Uplay application getting it?

Sigh, any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

As has been mentioned in other threads, if you purchased codes from a non official reseller, such as G2A, codes sold there are not supplied to them by Ubisoft directly, so you need to contact the retailer and ask for a refund.

    Thanks.

And where is the problem?? When we buy the game from G2A why does it matter? The code was developed by Ubisoft, and it shouldt matter where you buy it...

suffering from having my key banned as well, quite honestly this is theft by Ubisoft as we all purchased our keys legitimately from legit key resellers, the **** up if Ubisoft is not happy is between themselves and who ever supplied the key seller, not us. I am stunned a company feels such action as this is justified, unless of course its merely an oversight by someone and will all be rectified on monday when their manager sees the forums.

keep posting your dissatisfaction on the forums about this.

This is just outrageous. I also purchased my key through G2A and the key got accepted.
How in the hell can ubisoft now flag my key as banned. I purchased my key legitimately and it got accepted.
How can you retrospectively say that it is invalid as it clearly was a valid key, you got to be joking.
Whatever cause my key to become flagged was not caused by me ... if there has been an issue with the key then it should have been rejected immediately and not 4 weeks after i activated it.
How am I going to bring this up with the retailer now?
As budwalker stated before this is essentially theft. When I purchase a garden hoe in the hardware store and the retailer accepts my money he can't come to my shack and take the hoe back.

What bothers me the most is that I received no information from Ubisoft that anything changed on my Uplay account. I had to notice it myself and go to the forums to find out.

Is there a list of official resellers?

    Really?

You mean we have lost our games? Without notice?

It´s not that we have stolen them or whatever, we bought them, legally.

I´m afraid you`ve already decided that we don´t deserve those games. So, I can understand that you don´t care if I don´t buy Ubisoft games anymore, but you´ll understand if I´ll avoid them in the future, and I´ll spread the word that I don´t want to pay for games that I don´t know if they´d be in my library everytime I open Uplay.

    And as you said

    Thanks

Is this for real ? Ubisoft is banning players like me who bought their key with G2A supposed to be legit instead of playing a pirated game and now the key is removed because i bought it with a 3d party. If this is true then it is no wonder more and more players will turn to pirated games. It is a shame that Ubisoft does not respond on complaints and will not reverse this course. Last time that i ever will buy a game.
