Regular Jay's first track. (Xbox One)

    Hi people.
I shared my first track, Invasion, a few months ago on Xbox One. It would be extremely helpful if anyone could give me any feedback about my track as I am starting work on my new track tonight. I well over estimated the medal times and I re-released the track with the name "Invasion(revised)" but I still think the times are a little harsh. Anyway, as I said, It would be really helpful to get some feedback, so I can correct some of the mistakes in that track and not make the same ones in the future.
    Thanks very Much.
    Jay.

Sorry, could at least get track name correct, eh? It could be The Invasion. Can't remember and not at my Xbox at the mo. My bad. Yeah my GT's the same as my name here but with a space - Regular Jay.
    Thanks.

i was expecting a normal track this is really impressive, it's really your 1st one?? it's more like an adventure track, i love it! the driving line is a little rough at parts, especially at the beginning with the two ramps, the tires glitch pretty much there. speed runners probably won't like it cause there's too much randomness but i guess you wanted to do something different, imo you made it pretty good. maybe be a bit more careful with custom cams ( at the beginning) but for this kind of track it's not that important i think. i like the puzzle stuff, very creative! but you should definitely try to make the driving line a bit smoother just test it over and over and try to get a smooth line. some objects are not very good to be driven over like the big rocks and some other decoration things like the cars and stuff. but i see you really enjoy building & you're really creative so just go on doing what you do and you'll get better, enjoy what you do is the only advice from me you should follow, the others are just my opinion . decoration is pretty good, there was just some lag by the explosions in the background, maybe try to avoid that. don't know anything more right now. i really want to see what else you will come up with. cheers

I would class it more as a skill game, Jay.Be aware of slowdown with too much happening. With it being so long and with you having a lot of fire and explosions, this could contribute to performance. Some good imagination in parts. The curves weren't too well integrated though. The boost part, whilst clever, was an annoyance due to having to keep replaying the end section. I'm not very good with a boosting Panda.

Some good ideas though, mate.keep building, there is certainly potential there. There are a lot of good builders in the community who could give you help or tips with things.

Well, thanks for giving my track a look and for the feedback, guys. It's much appreciated. None of my friends play trials (despite much protest from me) so it's good/helpful to get someone else's opinion on it. Some good comments to take on board there, I see why you would call it a skill game Rudemod, I was unsure weather to class it as a skill game myself. I think (for me anyway) the driving line is one of the hardest things to get right. It's definitely the thing I struggled with the most and something I need to work on for this and my next course. Were there any parts of the driving line or obstacles that you guys thought worked? As for the performance issues, I quite liked the slow motion effect I got for some of the bigger explosions so I left it in, but I completely understand why it's not ideal and a bit annoying.
Anyway, thanks again guys. It's been most helpful.
    Jay.

I don't actually build myself, mate, but have played a few tracks over the years. I would suggest a shorter pure Trials track, say between 30-50 seconds long. That's a good length for a Trials track. If I saw a track in the feeds that was over a minute and a half long I probably wouldn't play it. I would like to see something for the Roach and/or Viper. The Panda is a bit of a niche thing really, but fitted this particular track.

Consistent difficulty level through the track, as well. Your build was pretty consistent in that regard, up to the end part. I was quite frustrated with the end section, but the idea was good and you implemented it pretty well.
