Agree, late Yaks are excellent dogfighters! Yak-3, Yak-9U/UT and last but not least the Yak-3 VK-107, a real hot-rod. They made a Yak-3 with even more powerful (1850 hp) VK-108 too, only one...

Well, actually we should not use the teamspeak as much we currently do. The various planes used in WW2 often too had totally different radio equipment, plus the radio silence-thingy was common too. ...

Nope, that's not raaid's type of post, he always explains some physical phenomenon (tries to), which mostly are product of his weird imagination, then ASKS if it is possible in real world / in...
Is this possible in game:
Two planes, coming head-on 400 km/h, the other fires an MK 108
Velocity = 505 m/s + plane 1's speed + plane 2's speed = way over 800 m/s!
I think this is a very big...
1. Why the BK 3,7 cannon fires still too slow?
Its fire-rate should be doubled to 160 rpm.
2. What cannon is fitted to Yak-9UT? If it's N-37, its firerate should be 400 rpm. Now its about 1,5...
In RL the fire rate was 160 rpm, but in the game it is only about 80 rpm. Add this to the ridiculous downward-firing cannon in Bf 110, that makes hitting to another plane almost impossible. I hope...
I have to say that few 20 guns are not modelled correctly. In game, the cannons of Zero's are just Type 99. In RL the A6M2 had Type 99-1 cannons wich were based on Oerlikon FF. A6M5 had much better...
I think the rifle-calibre mg sounds are just too slow. Try firing Hurri's 12 mgs and right, that sounds like 12x20 mm cannons firing at 500 rpm. Of course that should be something like 12 MG42s.
The...
