I shouldn't worry about my opponent blowing up on death. That is beyond terrible design. He died, he lost. Why is he getting any form of reward for that? It makes no sense and it shouldn't exist.
Anybody who mains Gryphon and gets him to rep 70 is suffering from Monkey Brain Syndrome.
On the other hand, that follow up light attack (500ms) that got "blocked" is enhanced. An unblockable heavy (900ms) will literally never work after a zone attack unless your opponent is out of...
It's also laziness and removing essential aspects that attracted players to the game.
