The game does appear to install DLC folders even though I don't own the DLC. I expect it is something to do with the UPLAY+ trial breaking something license...

It doesn't actually cause a problem, but it's irritating. I've uninstalled all UPlay+ games. Stop bugging me to resubscribe.
This message appears whenever I load up Uplay now. Can it please be made to stop appearing?

This is what I see, after loading a save after cancelling Uplay+. They gave away Fate of Atlantis Ep 1 free so I own that. I didn't touch any content I didn't own...
I woulds guess that they are translated because PS4/XBX support Arabic, but Uplay doesn't see the ROI on translating the UPlay PC client. Maybe PC gaming isn't big enough in the MENA region.
Maybe it depends on if you already cancelled it in advance or not?
Or if you used a credit card and not Paypal
I had hope they'd add in the Animus Control Panel too but it probably won't happen.
