The game doesn't break any illusions. People automatically assume that everyone is going to dissect every track they play to see what is happening in them. I can assure you this won't be the case. Either content makers will use the new cam for amazing screenshots, or builders who want to figure out things they feel are interesting in a track. I don't see alot of casuals using this feature to just look around in every track. Because why would they?
And people can descide for themselves if it's worth it to "break the illusion". But if you are already a builder, you know what's going on in a track, you know everything is catered to the game camera to make an illusion, so looking around doesn't even change anything. It's like building your own track, you know what's going on behind the scenes, but you still have to be immersed in the illusion yourself during testing if you want it to be a good track.
And think about it, if a casual dissects a track, "sees trough the illusion" maybe they will start to appreciate good tracks a bit more, or become interested in building themselves.
People should stop being egoistic because they feel it doesn't benefit them. Maybe it wasn't the feature you where waiting for, but that doesn't make it a bad one.
