It would help if everyone who posts anything would use the correct terminology.
Co-op play is what has been seen in the vids so far where players can join another persons SP / outpost.
Multiplayer is the likes of Team DeathMatch PvP.
I've seen so many reviews etc that cannot make the distinction between MP and Co-Op. So far there has been NO MP INFO..... hopefully this comes this week according to Alex Hutchinson's tweet promising MultiPlayer videos this week.
With regard to the podcast... keeping competitive multiplayer distinctive from the campaign/narrative/story will always work better than trying to create a single concept encompassing many parts. That said the mini games within the co-op element of FC3 was alot of fun. Listen to the fans.. they know a hell of alot of stuff and view games from quite a different perspective. Progress without a better result is not progress. Great interview tho... I'm kinda liking Alex. ^^
