That "Shangri La" makes me feel like the demon battle in FC3... That thing was quite a Far Cry-mood ruiner for me. I'd like no supernatural stuff this time around, really.
At least I'm hopeful the dialog between non-story related NPCs won't be as childish as it was back in Far Cry 3- with excessive swearing and voice like from a kids' pirate cartoon.
Edit: Oh yes, and, Ubisoft- get your act together and actually bring tessellation to the table on high-end PC configurations (at the very least...), it's not nice to have boring line silhouettes for objects anymore. Why boast about "next-gen fur" (which really is hair simulation, but developers nowadays call things whatever they decide to, instead of using the proper term) when the rest of the environment is dull and flat looking compared to it?

An image sliding down a zipline with prayer flags attached to the zip - They are back - Hope we also get them in MP and the Editor.
It's a next gen bell :D
Not sure what to think untill I played it myself, but it looks mispaced in a way. The predator mode on FCIP was brilliant, the character was out of control but the world around him wasn't, also liked the part of far cry 3 where you took the pills and went clubbing. This seems very integrated in the game.
I very much like the Shangri-La stuff, I think it's going to be a good addition to the main world, so if you want something really different, you can hop into the Shangri-La quests and have fun. And maybe there is going to be a predator-like multiplayer mode in connection with this?
And if you haven't read the article on Shangri-La on Ubiblog yet, then check this out: http://blog.ubi.com/far-cry-4-shangri-la/
