Trials Fusion Showcase. Wanting some tips and ideas.
I'm maybe going to get a 15-20 minute segment on the Yellow Stream at ESA 2014, which is a speedrunning marathon like SGDQ just that it's being held in Sweden, where I'll go through the game in general, speak some about the game mechanics, show some of the neat things in the game and a ridiculous Skill Game if I'm able to, as it will be either on PC or 360 (or for some reason there's a PS4 or XB1 with the game at the event, very unlikely, that too).
I've already some idea on how to do this. I'll start off easy by explaining the basics of the game, how it works, the difference between the bikes and play a track (most likely Dirt Derby because it got all the bikes available AND the Panda is the fastest) then explain a little more on how to go fast (as it's a speedrunning marathon, where you're supposed to go fast). Then going off into detail and visually how the physics of the game works by going to Frost Bite and Inferno IV (maybe into some FMX track to also have that) and activate the challenges to separate the bike and the rider for a closer look. I've also been testing out a Ninja track that shows off some specific tricks that's mostly used in Ninjas and explaining a little more. Then to end on a bonus, having a skill game that's completely unrelated to riding a bike.
I'm going to start planning this next week and hopefully I'll be able to get this on the stream, as it's going to be in one of the volunteer/attendant provided segments. I'll gladly have some tips on how I should do it, even fairly obvious things although I'm quite an experienced player. I'll mostly need some info on what to show in the Ninja section, because it's something I'm not spending my time playing. But I already have a plan to get through all this even without any additional help, I just want to be sure that I'm able to do it correctly. I can provide a video of me doing my version during the next week or further explain in detail on what I'm going to do, but until then I'm happy to get some tips here first.
If someone got any constructive criticism towards anything that will be in this showcase (positive and/or negative), then feel free to do so.
