Setting a personal record on a track when playing MP should be just as if you set the record in SP: save replay and update leaderboards. I think I have beaten all of my records in multiplayer, but who cares as long as it doesn't count. A personal record is a personal record, and I see no reason whatsoever it shouldn't count. It counts for Usain Bolt when "playing multiplayer" in the olympics....
Ha good analogy :) I completely agree this feature has to be in multiplayer no matter what Ill put it in the op :)
don't know if it was said but...
in MPlocal track the sound of the bikes are not as good that it was in evo.
we barely here it and its feel less immersive.
crank the sound up, we want to hear that engine !
also...
in local, we got to see the final time, like in evo...
cause when u bail and beat your friend by 000.016 you want to destroy is self esteem !! :p
I would suggest to have 3 kinds of multiplayer.
The private mp just as we had it in evo, and then 2 kinds of normal mp. One queue that counts into mp ranking, and one that is just there for having fun (like using the donkey on all tracks in evo).
Not sure if this has been mentioned before. It would be cool if there was a Uplay playlist in MP matchmaking..
I tried local MP last night.. Upon faulting you are automatically reset to checkpoint (almost instantly)....Please don't carry this feature over in the upcoming competitive MP. I would much rather press B myself.... Maybe as an option..
An example where it may be useful to have to manually reset to ckeckP is if you are testing a work in progress track in private MP, and are pointing out a problemed area to the host/builder. If you are reset to the nearest checkpoint in that area automatically it might be harder to show the builder exactly what is tripping them up... I think anyway..
"MP coming soon".. I have no problem with this.. For when they originally said "Soon", quite some time has passed.. Therefore. "Soon" now must indicate a much smaller amount of time....
soon my pet......
