I hate the idea of so many bikes. Evo did it with their dlc, and I feel like adding so many bikes for tracks ruins the level design. I like what they did in fusion with essentially three bikes. It makes level design decisions much more deliberate, and easy to grasp. If you have 7 different bikes that can ride a course, only one or two of them are going to be any good on it, or any fun to ride. Making tracks acceptable and fun of too many bikes can be total overkill, and make designing a perfect line impossible. The best bike will most likely suffer due to accommodations for the crap bikes, or vice versa. A couple bikes for a track is good and accessible, but a ton is just too much. I felt like I had no clue what bike the tracks in evo's dlc were designed for optimally, the tougher tracks were a mix between the banshee and the Phoenix. Maybe that was the idea, so people could ride what they want, not what they feel they need to. But I just felt like the quality of the ride suffered as a result.
