Dont put all the blame on UBI now.... The Rayman games are still amazing, UBI and all. Ubi allowed a big delay for Watch Dogs..... (yeah yeah yeah, didnt want to compete with GTA.... I know...) but still...
I think Redlynx needed to stand up for themselves and tell Ubi they needed more time. They were clearly rushed....
The only good thing about Ubisoft is they're not quite as bad as EA
I wonder though what their options were. My guess is realistically they should've had 6 more months, but that would put this game out right during the holiday cluster****. No way ubisoft is going to pay for that, only to have the game get unnoticed because of all the AAA titles coming out. So then that leaves another option, wait a full year? That puts the release back at the proper window, but that probably would be way too much time, that's lots of moola.
So I'm guessing that's why they released now, unfinished. They just market the hell out of it, get everyone's imaginations carried away about what the game COULD be like, and say almost nothing about the game. Evolution was such a masterful improvement over hd, why would we doubt fusion???
I don't disagree with a lot you say. stllbreath. trials would never stack up against watchdogs or destiny and the likes, its not a aaa title so they rushed it and probably blew it.
I am really gutted, my favourite company gone to greedy twats!
Hey RedLynx remember the Trials HD days...
Do you wish it was still the same....?
Of course you do, everybody does!
Those were the days, I loved those days...
I got hooked on trials from the start (Trials HD xbox 360)
Some of you would probably recognize my gamertag from back in the day...
I miss those days... *tears*
The game certainly seems rushed out/incomplete in places. Six more months would have given it more of a chance, although some decisions made at a design level would probably have stayed the same.
"We will always have Evo"...(Bogart, Bergman)
[mainly because it isn't tied to Ubi servers and we were able to download, view and manage tracks locally...]
the only one to blame is redlynx and not ubi
the only thing ubi did is bring it on the market
if ubi forced bad descisions on rl then rl could have just said no because they know how to make good trials games and ubi doesn't, so the only one to blame is the one and only REDLYNX
so stop *****ing about ubi
