Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 28.02.*
Trials Evolution: Gold Edition - Ninja Tracks
As I am not an authority on ninja tracks, I would appreciate if you guys would post track names, difficulties, creators and prefferably replays (with the rider name included) here.
I shall be updating the OP with proper lists categorized by difficulty when track details are posted.
* PLEASE CORRECT ME IN ANY AND ALL MISTAKES REGARDING TRACK DIFFICULTY*
* Entry-level = A great ninja to play after you're comfortable with extreme tracks. Should be your first ninja tracks to try
* Pure = The driving line mainly consists of simple, yet hard obstacles
* Gimmicks = The opposite of Pure, a driving line mainly built around gimmicks suchs as fenderhooks

Think I'm done updating for the night. Hopefully Steve doesn't mind me stealing all of his replays http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image.../icon/razz.gif

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
Great idea to make a list like this, it happened often in the past that tracks got ninja labels even on easy-hard tracks (usually not from the usual creators tho), so a list of actual real ninja tracks with difficulty will help finding specific tracks to ride/practice on much easier.

That's what the list is for, glad you like the idea http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...icon/smile.gif

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I don't personally feel Heating Up or Flight Delayed are above extreme but I understand how having stuff be considered 'entry level' can be useful for people starting out with ninjas.
Cool thread though, feel free to use any of my replays off my YT channel or just in the game if you want to record them yourself.
-
Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
other ninjas not on the list.
-Chin Check- by cristinat-2611 (lvl 1)
Moonlight Bliss by TeLarix (lvl 2)
Integrals Unnecessary by theboshos (lvl 1)
The Quarry by cristinat-2611 (lvl 4)
I think there are a couple more, but maybe not worth mentioning.

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
Thank you for this Thread!
-
Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
Should probably add MurdocLoch's "Working Stiff" as an entry level thing, it's definitely harder than most extremes.
-
Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I'll update the thread a bit once I have the time to, propably tomorrow

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I think your definition of Gimmicks is used incorrectly. Fender hooks, in my opinion are not gimmicky, its a well known part of the game that is required on most ninja tracks, or at least to save yourself. Gimmicky to me would be a ninja difficulty track that uses physics or other movements/outside forces, ie. not a static track. Just an opinion, considering a bunch of your labeled pure tracks require fender hooks. Maxxi's tracks are a good example of gimmicky stuff imo.

I might be wrong in the definition but in my opinion a fenderhook is a gimmick as it requires the bike to move in a wildly unnatural manner. Therefore, if a track *mainly* consists of fenderhooks (just those for the sake of discussion), I'd label it as being a gimmicky track. A required fenderhook here and there on a track that otherwise doesn't require wildly imaginary techniques i.e. Dodecahedron is, in my opinion, a "Pure" track even with a couple of hooks.

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I define gimmicky obstacles like stuff that can have a total different outcome on even a tiny change in driving often due to timing, directional forces or moving parts or even custom friction/engine/braking settings for the bike or surfaces.
In my book those are Gimmicky in-game tracks (very physics based)
- sewage plant
- physics factory
- mind bender
Theres a couple more in the HD warehouse with moving parts/explosives that you have to slowly drive over etc.
And there are customs with moving stuff that are far more gimmicky then those. (and yes maxixi has a lot of those http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...icon/smile.gif )
(my mechanical vapor track, with the moving cogwheel and steam powered jump near the end is sorta gimmicky, and not ninja, still probably mislabeled easy as it's phoenix only but still http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...icon/smile.gif
Fender hooks, rail hanging and backwards wheely, or 1 wheel parts are imo ninja skill things but on non-moving objects I call them pretty much just "special techniques" you see mostly only in ninjas and harder custom extremes.
Just my opinion.

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
Ninja's Predicament by Osoguineapig is one of the better more difficult tracks - released today. And in case anyone was wondering (which you weren't) 'Hmm I wonder how close Danners got to 0'ing this?' then WONDER NO MORE:

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I played that track, Danners...

What level is Ninja's Predicament?
OP updated btw.

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
3 I guess? Although if you all consider Moonlit Bliss a 2 (which I've never agreed with even on 360) then its definitely a 2.
And if The Quarry is considered a 4 then put Maborosi Lite in with that as well.
By the way I noticed you didn't have a replay for Integrals Unnecessary so quickly recorded one if you did want it.
Spoiler: Show

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
No worries, glad your back fin.
I think predicament is a very hard 2 or easy 3. I think it was slightly easier than melting point which is a 3 in gold right? Marbrosi lite should be a 4, considering the original was a lvl 5 when it first came out.
-
Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
Coolbeans, I'll update the OP later today. Appreciate the replay btw Danners!
-
Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I always thought Moonlit Bliss was a lvl 3, I mean, it's way harder than Ascendary.

Hard 2, Easy 3. The second to last cp is rediculous.
-
Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I felt like Moonlight was a solid lvl 1 till the last two cps which are an insane difficulty change. Going from 4 faults to 70+ on the second to last obstacle is terrible. I think lvl 2 is accurate. If first 4 cps were harder than most likely a 3, but comparing moonlight to MP and predicament, it is quite a bit easier.

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
We needs moar ninjas here imho
-
Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I think my new track is pretty much the definition of 'Entry-level' although I am also making a legit ninja version of it which should be out in a couple of days or so. Then I got another ninja after that. Hope that works for ya FIN. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image.../icon/wink.gif

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*

Re: Ninja Tracks - Gold Edition *Updated 14.11.*
I like this game. At the rythhm I am going, I will be at the front porch of the 536 club in a few!
I was wondering, since I no longer have Internet access at home, if compilations of user-created tracks were available (offline) somewhere.
