Before you concern about the tricks, see here before posting
I see that the tricks looks like a big concern to everybody that could ruin the core, but ANBA and katamariUK answered before, that the trials core will not be broken, and I think, it's will be a different mode (sorry, I couldn't show their replies because after the forum fix it was disappeared).
Actually, I like that there are more ways to play trials that makes everybody happy.
Now, don't pump up your heart up because of the tricks for trials fusion, and have a good sleep!

My toughts exactly, why start whining over a 20 second trailer? We have too little information at the moment, and if you don't like it, don't throw your hate all over it. There are already enough people on the internet who do that.

Remember that the trailer was all in CGI http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image.../icon/wink.gif

Re: Before you concern about the tricks, see here before pos
These people crying about the tricks are driving me crazy. There is no information about how tricks will work in the gameplay yet all these fools immediately assume that RedLynx is going to abandon all the aspects that made Trials a success and make it just about tricks. I don't know how these people function without brains. This is the most foolish assumption that could possibly be made and my head is steaming from all the comments I've seen and argued with about it online.

I'm happy they are adding new modes and not churning out the same game eveytime. More =better

Exactly. If there are no new features it might as well just be more DLC. I'd much rather have a new game with new features on next gen then the same game with nicer graphics. I hope they continue to add more fun features like this. Not only does it make the game more engaging but it creates more possibilities for stuff to do in the editor! The more features the better in my book!
Anyway I'm sure Fusion will still have a Trials mode with scoring based on just time and faults. To me that seems like a no brainer, how can people not see that? I'll happily take bets with anyone who thinks Fusion will be just about tricks with no trials, that's easy money.

you're right, and the devs have already confirmed this more or less, but what happens when they find out the vast majority of players (casuals) prefer the playing around with tricks etc than the core trials gameplay? what happens to the franchise further down the line after these kind of additions?
maybe nothing but the more mainstream Trials gets the more of us will move away from it, we've seen that already from Evo.
having said that, I am sure Fusion will be fantastic and will probably be one of my all time favourite games just has Evo is - but I wont pretend that im happy about the tricks http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image.../icon/hand.gif

Re: Before you concern about the tricks, see here before pos
Sorry ive not been around much but internet hasnt been easy to get on. Im trying to get an interview today with a few guys but I went out to dinner with the team monday and I shared all the concerns that many of you have and im pretty pumped. I think the tricks could be fun but the core trials experience is what im most looking forward to. They assured me as they have on here that this was just a CGI vid of the new ideas for new features.
I f I can ill make a vid of the interview and ill try covering off some of your questions.

Awesome stuff FatShady. Looking forward to it.
And if you have time, perhaps a write up of the whole Ubisoft Ambassador E3 experience. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image.../icon_cool.gif

Re: Before you concern about the tricks, see here before pos
Everybody the posted up there is right, sometimes they just don't want stop concerning and hating, instead first finding out what the devs says.
And Vegan, yes, I'd like more possibilities in the editor instead always the same! http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...icon/dance.gif

Re: Before you concern about the tricks, see here before pos
Im not too worried. The trailers aren't targeted at us anyway. Wil has a point, but I can't blame them as they need to expand their audience and become more successful...they're a larger studio now.

What I'm worried about is the global scores. In HD you had to play the skill games and I'm hoping that in fusion the trick side of things wont effect global

Didnt in Evo, so I doubt it will be an issue in Fusion.

I had an issue in Evo that there was no global skill game rankings.

There is already a stickie thread discussing this topic. We get it, it's not ruining Trials.

This thread is 9 months old, and it was posted before the sticky thread. See post date!
