Best case scenario, as of January 2012, is that 1/3rd of the target audience has Kinect. That means 60% (or more) of Xbox 360 console owners do not own a Kinect. That's a pretty big difference when it comes to programming games. Do you make the game so that more users can play it, or do you make it so that a smaller group can play it with motion controls?
You make it so more users can play it, because there's still a pitiful amount of evidence that motion controls can add anything to the experience of most games and so investing time and money into it is a stupid risk.

This feels like a discussion that Trials has Kinect motion support when you compare this with the topic title. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...s/icon_lol.gif

Re: What platform will you be getting Fusion on?
I'm gonna get it on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
^ it'd also be a cool idea for Kinect support in Trials Fusion. I don't know how you'd do it but still.

Maybe when you bail, you can make movements in real life that translate to the game http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...s/icon_lol.gif

Yup, I wanna do Kinect skill games. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image.../icon/razz.gif I'd also like Impulse Triggers support for Trials Fusion on Xbox One.

This news sparks some more hope for me that this game may feature some variety of joining of Track Central's between consoles (possibly why the game is called 'Fusion'). This would be very reassuring to me because I'm not getting an X1 but it'd be a shame to miss all the tracks made by whoever's gonna be playing Fusion on that.
Re: What platform will you be getting Fusion on?
No plans for next gen here for a while yet,
But definite plans to play Fusion,
So I'll be on the 360 most likely...
