Re: N.E.C.! Round 2. Signups closed. [Build phase!]
I think in all cases of fps drops on tracks it's been curved drivelines combined with a very compact cluster of background scenery, even while it doesn't drop fps in my local test runs, it does end up laggy in live runs.
Those ships in my track used a lot of metal plates, which likely is a problem area http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image.../icon/razz.gif As were the collosseum in the track before.
Next track will be a straight line one but I will use curves again at some point, just more careful and find more balance in object clusters.

"Pretty good" is an understatement in my opinion. Awesome all-around!
And thank you all for taking part. Keeps me motivated to do this thing again and get some quality in TC while having fun.

Nice Video.
High quality tracks indeed.
Time limits due to a vacation made my track a bit less optimized then I'd hoped but no big deal, still learned a bit from it due to the moving objects.
It's fun enough to even just take part of those competitions and that's what counts far more then any prizes to me, and it keeps me motivated to make more tracks.
Congrats Kalianhagle, well deserved.
