Terrain mod texture question and possibly a bug
Hard question to explain but I'll try...
So if I place a Terrain Mod and set it to, for example, a Hill type, I can no longer modify the texture of this terrain mod. Even if I disable the Decal of the Hill and place another Terrain Mod at the same spot, trying to override the texture with let's say a grass texture, the grass doesn't show up.
Is this intended behaviour or a bug? It would make sense to be able to override a height mod's texture with another one, if you have the first Decal disabled.
Also, it seems some of the two-color objects are buggy, at least on PC. One reproducible example is the tire stack object that defaults to white and red tires. No matter what I set the red color box to, the tires stay red.
Re: Terrain mod texture question and possibly a bug
the second texture must be above(hight) the first one to show up.

Oh, sweet, thanks! Will try it out when I get back home!
Ha, it's even in the tutorials! I thought I had the terrain tool all figured out and skipped through the video! http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...on/biggrin.gif
Well, I guess I can finally add a driving line decal over those hilly bits then!

yeah this seems to be bugged. you would just have to stack individual tires http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...icon/smile.gif
your problems with the hills are fine on my end.

Oh, one more thing! How do you select your level's thumbnail when you publish?
