I enjoyed it.
Picks updated
Its a cas eof ride it once and enjoy the atmosphere then delete it. There's no replay value because the actual track isnt very good. So it doesnt deserve to be a redlynx pick imo. Not that its an horrendous track, just not worthy of the pick. But everyone has their own preferences, which is what makes it interesting! http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...on/biggrin.gifQuote:

Redlynx picks the track that They enjoy. Be that a cinematic one time cool atmospheric track like Terminator 2 with No replayability or a rather boring looking extreme track with a great driving line and a great replayability, it's ultimately their choice, and whatever type of track they choose isn't really something the community should complain about.
Plus, i'm sure the majority of the community that bought the game is pretty bad at the game, and just play it for the fun each track is, and don't even think about replaying a track to get a better time. Those people problably don't care about a tracks replayability at all.
This is obviously nothing personal against you. I just think it's stupid that people complain over redlynx picks.
Like i said, it's called "Redlynx Picks" for a reason. They choose whatever tracks they like, be it an extreme track, a cinematic track, a cool skill game, or even just a new interesting mechanic or something like the airplane "Reel" that was featured a couple of weeks ago.
^^^ Fair point. Like I say, everyone has diferent opinions, so I guess I could just as easily have said I agree with most of the picks rather than criticising the odd one I dont agree with. Also, its clear a lot of work went into it, so maybe its a little unfair to criticise its style (which is down to personal preference). Each to their own.
Apologies to the creator as well. Note to self: Dont post when in a grumpy mood! http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...on_redface.gif lol
Having been involved with user-created content for other console games (Timesplitters, Far Cry) - I can tell you that people will ALWAYS find reasons to complain about stuff like this. It's impossible to please everyone.
If you really want to see a lot of bitterness, complaints, and accusations of favoritism, just let RedLynx host a track-building contest.
Look up the "Big Thrills" contest. The community seemed to handle it pretty well.
in that case, i suggest a new section !Quote:

community picks, suggest and vote on the forum.
The only reason RL Picks irritates me is because the search/rating system sucks really hard and it's very difficult to find quality tracks. All of the best tracks that i've played, I have played because they we're promoted here or through a message over XBL so I'm sure theres tonnes more amazing tracks out there that I would really enjoy but I simply cannot find them because the search system and the rating system is a pile of ***.
