HAVE ANY of the devs EVER even rode a trials bike? geesh
Your pysics for lack of a better word SUCK. I love this game but the sections of the game where you have to jump and land on a upwards slope without falling off the ledge or flipping over are rediculous.
Tell me WHAT bike in this world lifts its whole *** end off the ground when you lean foward going UP hill. You would have to lean so far over the bars for that to happen you would flip over the bars unless tou were on a straight up and down hill.
Take for example the section in Inferno II rite before the end where you have to Jump from one platform over fire then land onto a small uphill sloped platform and then jump off that onto another small uphill platform. Every damn time I try this section I land on the platform and lean forward to not flip and the *** of the bike comes off the ground and the bike and I fall off the platform into the explosives..
******ed..
This is the only thing I absolutly hate about this game the rest is awesome.
Edit: Sorry about being rude my temper is really flaring from trying to complete inferno II and being stuck at the part mentioned above. You guys did a great job on the game but PLEASE please update the physics or something, thanks.

i remember when i used to have that problem, but it kinda slipped my mind cause i don't do that at ALL anymore
keep practicing
Re: HAVE ANY of the devs EVER even rode a trials bike? geesh
Yeah , they missed the boat big time!
I mean, it doesn't even look like a real trials bike. It doesn't sound like one either, and it doesn't act like one!
And those riding boots! Man oh man, I am sure they are not even leather! Probably some imported vinyl from a sweatshop country!
But you know, I soon figured out that if I wanted a Real Trials Bike, I would have to go and buy a real bike from my local motorcycle shop, not from an arcade game on xbox!
So, if you bought the game to learn how to ride real life trials bikes, sorry to say, it ain't the same.
But if you bought Trials HD for the absolutely friggin' awesome game that it is, to play it in context to how it works, with it's physics rules, well then, you simply need to learn to ride better!
We have all been frustrated at our inability to pass an obstacle, and we blame it on the poor game/track, ****ty physics etc.
And a few days/weeks/months later, we have forgotten we used to even struggle over such a simple obstacle......
Be patient, take credit when you ride well, and take the blame when you can't perform as good as you would like...
In time, by sticking with it, hopefully you will learn new techniques, that will allow you to feel as though you have triumphed over the track!
Good luck on your riding, take your time, have fun, and remember, skills are acquired over time.... here's to hoping that you will become a better rider!
Re: HAVE ANY of the devs EVER even rode a trials bike? geesh
Trials HD is about action and crazy stunts. It's not meant to be an accurate representation of the sport.
The real sport of trials is extremely slow paced and highly technical, which doesn't translate well into a video game. For example, Moto Racer 3 took a more realistic approach to trials riding, which IMO was nowhere near as fun or rewarding as Trials HD.
I also really had trouble with that part on Inferno II, until I learned to just press lightly on the throttle. It takes some getting used to, but that section becomes a lot easier with some practice.
Re: HAVE ANY of the devs EVER even rode a trials bike? geesh
For me, the Physics are the best part of the game. Changing the physics would ruin the game.
How about you just adapt to the physics and learn to play the game? http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...on_neutral.gif

ahhme2 said it all, no arguing with that.

yup, ahhme said it better than I could. His response is spot on.
You are not the first one to complain about that very issue on these forums, and the other people got about the same response. It may not be 100 percent accurate, but there is a ryme and reason when the pros get over a certain obstacle. It isnt luck, its learning the game physics and adapting.
Re: HAVE ANY of the devs EVER even rode a trials bike? geesh
Don't worry man, we've all been there in the past. Those two incline planks killed all of our spirits once, you'll soon get the hang of the physics, and soon enough you'll be blazing through Inferno II with 0 faults (Then fault on the final hammers http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...s/icon_lol.gif ).
Re: HAVE ANY of the devs EVER even rode a trials bike? geesh
Where the hell does it say that Trials is mean't to be realistic?
It's a game for crying out loud.
