webantispy.com: one big ass virus
i thought i'd just warn everyone about a virus that caused the main computer to get its knickers very twisted, confused most of the technicians who tried to help, and, to be honest, pissed everyone off.
having just been through the repair with a technician who knows what he's doing, it sounded like he was doing the processes listed on this site:
http://www.enigmasoftware.com/webantispycom-removal/
(it was my dad working with the technician)
i'm not going into details because i know i'm not the greatest with computers, but that site seems to have everything on it.

I recommend AVG. Its free and uses half the resources of Norton but does a better job.
Google it.
Re: webantispy.com: one big ass virus
the main computer (the one that had the problem) had AVG and norton on it, both of which failed miserably to get rid of it.
Re: webantispy.com: one big ass virus
i'm adding antispybox to that 'big *** virus' category - its completely disabled my laptop since tuesday.
after working on it all of wednesday its now in a useable state, but i'm still not taking it on the network. i'm currently on the main pc, so dont expect to see me on here much for the next few days

Dude, why do you have 2 antivirus on your computer? Theyre just gonna cancel each other out and give you one big fat virus. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...s/icon_lol.gif
