Retro Trials games
I've been interested in exploring the history of Trials games, so I tried the demo's on Miniclips of the old Trials java games. They're really interesting. Very slow and bouncy, but with still that glimmer of precision that makes conctrolling the bikes so fun. The Construction Yard demo is particularly good.
Here are the links:
Trial Bike
Trial Bike Pro
Trials Mountain Heights
Trials Construction Yard
Trials Dynamite Tumble
Trials2 Preview
Trial Bike is also really interesting because it has The Classic track.
One other point though, and I'd be greatful if anyone could give me some tips. I bit the bullet and bought the Trials Bundle (Trial Bike + Trial Bike Pro). The first one works great (although it's full screen which is harder to play at work http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/image...con_e_wink.gif ) However the second one insists that I install Java Runtime Environment 1.4 - which as far as I can tell is no longer available. Does anyone know where I could find it?
One other thing, Developers, do you still get any money from Trials games bought on Miniclips? By todays standards they're a bit over priced, but I don't mind spending a bit extra if I know it goes to RedLynx.

Re: Retro Trials games
If it still doesn't work with the older version of Java, try the following:
1. open windows registry editor (to open registry editor, just open "run" from start menu and type "regedit" and press enter)
2. then open the tree to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment
3. parameter "Current Version" should be "1.5" or "1.6". Change it to "1.4" and keep the registry editor open
4. install the Trials game(s)
5. after the installation, change the "Current Version" back to the previous value, and close the registry editor
