Blue screen of death means there is a hardware or a driver issue in your system. Most likely hardware causes are overheating, power supply (PSU) issues or memory voltage/clock issues.
Open your case and check that all fans are spinning properly, and if there is some dust inside, clean it out. If you have overclocked some part of your system (CPU, graphics card or memory) clock it back to normal. Issues with overclocking and PSU usually do not show immediately. Your machine might run fine for months before starting to BSOD randomly. And it collects dust all the time, so opening the case periodically is a good thing to do.
To test potential memory and memory bus issues, I recommend a quick test tool, like this:
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp
just to point out computer has now been on for over 40mins without starting the game and it is running fine. so i am 90% sure that its the game, gonna cheak my fans in a few mins.
Have you been running other demanding high end games? If you are just in the desktop or browsing the net the computer consumes considerably less power and generates much less heat. Issues like this only show when the system is stressed to the max.Quote:

sebbi do you have x-fire of skype so we can IM would be eseyer
Windows writes always minidump files after bluescreen which contains more information about the issue. You can find files from %systemroot%\minidump\
There is lots of MiniDump analyzer like this: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtoo...nstallx86.mspx
I think its ok to send also crash dump file to the support, and let them debug this issue.
No, sadly I don't have either on my home computer.Quote:

Update: Do you have COD4? It seems to be really sensitive to hardware problems.
