FC3 Crashing on Startup "Far Cry 3 Has Stopped Working" Windows 10
I'm on Windows 10, when I launch the game I see the first small window then the game tries to go full screen but crashes everytime, with the message "Far Cry 3 Has Stopped Working". I have tried launching it in Compatibility Mode with Winows 8/7/xp and disabled GPU Tweak and anything else. I went to disable Tablet Input Service but it was already turned off.
Windows 10. Not Responding.
Hello.
I will give my specs in just a second but this is the problem. I bought Far Cry 3 via Steam a while back and wanted to test it out today.
I launched the game and it crashed after showing the first picture with FC3 on it. I googled it and tried to fix it. Now I got it to the point in which I pass the first screen and go into fullscreen. Its a full black screen I get after I enter fullscreen and it gets followed up by the 'Far Cry 3 isn't working anymore message. I have no idea what to do next so here I am.
Specs:
OS: Windows 10 Home (10.0.14393 Build 14393)
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Motherboard: Asus H97 Plus
Ram: 16GB DDR3
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 390
Help would be very appreciated!
Crashing after 10-15 minutes in chapter 8. No issues in the game up until now.
Just like the subject says. I run everything else on my system flawlessly. I've even been running THIS on my system flawlessly through the current chapter, 8. Now, the game will randomly freeze and CTD, loose sound>freeze>CTD, not load graphics correctly>freeze>CTD.
I tried several of the fixes, checked drivers, etc. Nothing seems to be wrong.
