Now that I'm having to let go of my BMW outfit, this might be just the toy I need to brighten up my old age ;)
I think we'd have to stand it on end to fit it into the garden. Still, it would definitely get the neighbours talking. So... pointy-end up, or pointy-end down? :D
If I had 30K I would spend it in a heartbeat on that. *drool*
oh, pointy end down, i think- if only to match your sig:)
maybe this as suitable music as you 'plant' it?:p

Wait a minute before you start digging the hole. If you were going to take advantage of that beautiful pit and maybe wire a PC and monitor into it - would you rather fly lain back in that Martin-Baker, or hanging against the straps looking down at the daffodils?
Of course you could just grab an angle-grinder and cut off the pertinent part, destination attic or basement, and then plant the now-noseless end into the lawn. Conversation piece and functional fun, that 30k is sounding more and more like a bargain.:)
Best of all, when the council come to complain you can just shrug your shoulders and blame it on the Luftwaffe;)
How did that plane get there? I thought they where all sold to Turkey?
Odd to see a plane from my former squadron!

Last time I saw those birds was 1988 that was when the last ones in Germany where sold.
Likes like really nice modding project if you have the cash
