Are the framerate issues fixed yet?
When the game was officially released, I borrowed a friend's copy just to see if it would run on my PC before I bought it. I figured it would run fine, since I have an Athlon 2 x4 620 @ 2.6ghz / Radeon HD 5770, and I can run pretty much any modern game at a playable framerate (30fps or higher, in my books). I was quite surprised to discover that Cliffs of Dover only plays at about 10fps on my computer, despite the fact that I can get 30fps in BF3 and 60fps in MW3 using max settings. For some reason my video card doesnt do shadows very well, so turning shadows off usually doubles my framerate in most games, but in Cliffs of Dover it didn't seem to matter whether the graphics settings were at max or minimum, i still got around 10-15 FPS.
Now they said they would fix this in a patch, but it was more like a minor improvement in several minor patches, so I gave up waiting.
Is the game in its current state any better? Is it worth buying so I can try it out using the latest patch?
