I've installed drivers from the disc and restarted as instructed and my PC switches off after i sign into Vista.
It's powered up, seated correctly, PSU etc can handle it, there are no compatbility issues with my PC at all.
I can't get the latest drivers onto my gaming rig as this PC's drives do not work, so i can't put them onto a disc.
Does anyone have any ideas? Man this is getting old after RMA'ing a 7950GT last week.
I wanted to get back into PC gaming and so far after nearly five months i've been using a faulty GPU, and now the replacement doesn't work - i'm starting to think i'm wasting my ****ing time. I've spent more time troubleshooting that playing anything my PC is capable of, first the RAM slots don't work causing BSOD's, that took a couple of weeks to diagnose as i had no clue after so long away, then the GPU is faulty, now the 8800GTS won't work.
Wolfman.
