p.s. We are still looking for like minded axis squads for friendly DF and vs. co-op missions.

Well the chaps have made it through their Ardennes campaign and have now been posted to the Crimea. Wilkinseyev has put together a rag tag squadron of aircraft including I-16's I-153's Hurricanes and anything else he can get his hands on.
The Luftwaffe, fearing our reputation as finely moustached cads of the air, have drafted in their Romanian allies to render assistance. Facing overwhelming numbers, the CO has again put out the call for additional pilots. If you think you have what it takes and if you can find us, we'll be in the bar, then come along to Chuffy's Flying Circus and teach those Blues a lesson!!

Well our spell in North Africa is over and the chaps at Chuffy's have been posted back to europe. It's certainly colder but it's good to have a proper pint and we've finally managed to get the sand out of all those hard to reach spots!!
Currently filling out the empty seats in 602 sqn, the rumour mill has it that we're to be attached to a Polish squadron in the near future. Here's hoping that the home distilled vodka is better than wilkins gut rot and I'm certainly looking forward to a good helping of pierogi.
HQ have managed to send a couple of new pilots over to learn the ropes but there are still plenty of aircraft available. Wilkins managed to fiddle the books so we have several Mk IX spitfires sitting on hardstandings wasting space. If you want to make one of them yours, pop in to our office at:
Chuffy's Flying Circus
and sign up on our forums or send me a telegram: po.fitz@gmail.com

Chuffy's Flying Circus is still recruiting new members!
As long as you are over 18 and know how to laugh, there's a spot waiting for you at CfC. We're UK based but have members from around the globe and we all fly for fun at least three nights a week. Skill levels are unimportant and we have no fixed training programe but we will all chip in with help and advice both in playing the game and making sure it runs!
We fly two DF sessions and one co-op a week and have our own TS3 server for comms. We also quite regularly fly a mission or campaign against other squads, but not on as serious a basis as the IL2 league. You will not be forced to fly against your will! We do like it when members turn up to fly, but we won't force you if you're not in the mood or have better things to be doing.
If you're interested in flying with us or would like some more information, feel free to get in touch with me or visit our forums.

I can heartily recommend Chuffy's as a place where a chap can as easily swap banter as cannon shells . Despite the life-changing initiation ceremony (still getting flashbacks of the mankini-wearing competition) dress code in the mess is formal, though in compensation the beer is top hole.
For prospective squad members out there, I'd also add that the senior officers display an infinite amount of patience with greenhorns.
