The new Forums are sh*t…. I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in that feeling.
The new forums — AC, Watchdogs etc. They’re dead. Barely anyone posts….
They should of kept this same UI and template.
Oh well.
Future posts will be made in the land of the tumble tumbleweeds…………..
Perhaps forums are less of a thing.
I remember when BioWare closed their official forum (5 years ago)
and Bethesda closing theirs this year.
`Ubisoft has theirs, but this forum is barely active and it's for a AAA game launching in a week.
Not many games still to be moved.
Ghost Recon is the only other IP I (occasionally) visit still to go over.

It’s a shame really because I think this format works well for collecting feedback, and the investment of the fans/consumers pays off in some instances because sometimes you see content added to the game that was directly requested from people posting in these forums.
I’m absolutely less invested in wasting my time on platforms like Reddit, Twitter, because it just feels like a waste of time. It feels like your comments are launched into the ether and you have no idea whether anybody is listening or not….
At least with forum format you might get a direct response from one of the devs or at least one of the moderators who will then pass on the message to the devs — so it feels like it’s worth posting…
Ps. I would say I have noted the lack of posting on FARCRY6 forums as well. But I suspect it will probably become more busy once the game is actually out.
I'm pretty much with you. Twitter is just a light chat as you don't have enough characters to say much meaningful.
I've got nothing against Reddit but it can be an echo chamber (both over-positive and over-negative depending on the majority).
I prefer a longer conversation.
We'll just have to have that longer conversation in another location.
I thought we'd be shut today, yet here we are...
I don't like Reddit in that it forces you to use the app which is a big NO to me.
I just find Reddit UI confusing. I find the layout horrible. It’s really difficult to know where one thread ends and another begins….
Unfortunately — the new Ubisoft forums are similar…..
🙄🤦🏻
