Far Cry 6 releases on October 7 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna (and is available as part of a Ubisoft+ subscription). your i 5 9400 f is a 6 core CPU with a top turbo speed of over 4 ghz
2.9 is the default speed of the CPU
https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us...-4-10-ghz.html
and your GTX 1650S should outperform a 4 gig GTX 960 by a lil bit
https://gagadget.com/en/graphics-car...force-gtx-960/
hope some of that info helps ya man ..but yes we all are gonna need better vis cards to max out the game and its settings , as true with any FAR CRY game , they leave room for the next gen cards to use all the features the engine can and will use
ALSO YOUR PC IS NOT A TOASTER ITS MORE A MID TO LOW RANGE PC AS YOUR GPU ONLY HAS 4 GIG OF V RAM
(with a better Gpu or even your current , you'll be fine i think if you set the in game settings up right for your set up )
so ignore what Kmarko says
Thanks man, really helped me out. <3
I´m just wondering because i run AC Valhalla at 60fps with some framedrops at certain places on low-medium settings.
So i thought i could run a little better a Far Cry game , since i run FC5 at 60fps+ on Ultra settings, but the requirements are quite different :D
well far cry 6 looks to have more features for more advanced GPU's ..ie your vid card
same as all other far cry games had , going back to the first game
they will try to push the new engine as far as it can go
by adding FXR and ray tracing for video options , as that is the NEW thing to do
i can tell ya i ran it already as part of the hands on EVENT a few weeks back .. i \did not have access to the games config files but yea it ran on my system ..with a GTX 1060 vid card and an i 5 7600 K that i keep overclocked to 4.4 ghz , and yes i enjoyed several hours of single player as well as bout an hour and a half of co op ..before the test ended
but yes look into a better gpu i am too ..but god damn it,,, they are hard to find right now without paying a ton of cash for
Fox.Trag, buy Xbox Series X and don't rack your brains!
It will be a substitute for PC.
In this difficult, for PC gamers, times.
If in your country games on Xbox are much more expensive than games on PC....try to find cheaper RTX (RX).
There is always possible to find something.
Something like this, for instance......http://www.computeruniverse.net/en/s...rx%206600%20xt
Only don't buy used videocards from miners!
Fox.Trag, today you're playing games with your GTX 1650.....
But tomorrow games will be - DLSS Only!
You won't be able to play at all!
Doors of good games will close in front of you.
Move, Fox.Trag, move!
Oih don't be cheeky because of Huang and Sue and they're compulsive gluttony I'm still using an i7 930@4ghz 12gb ram with msi Rx 480 8gb I got from overclockers UK in June 2010 and will not give those cretins twice the amount for a gpu that barely worth the mrrp OK, I get 30-33fps in Breakpoint, wildlands, origins, odyssey division 2k max settings

Agreed. Ignore him. He chimes in with nothing useful to say.
System Requirements are hardly an exact science.
I’m often surprised what I can run on my budget laptop…
Ryzen 5 4500
GTX 1650
16GB RAM.
Make sure you have fast RAM which makes a difference, and is often one of the cheapest upgrades you can make.
Also certain games are simply better optimised than others. There’s times where you have better than required spec and a game still doesn’t run great….
So you dont really know for sure until the game comes out.
I have to agree.
I bought a budget gaming laptop this year and got back into PC gaming (been like 15yrs!) — for Total War Warhammer mainly and other RTS games you just cannot get on console — it’s been great.
But…. You just cannot beat consoles at that price point. You cannot build an equivalent spec PC for the same money. Can’t be done.
Consoles are unbeatable for value for money. You might not be able to run every game with PC equivalent ultra settings bells and whistles, but with the Series X and PS5, they are now pretty close.
And also keep in mind that a lot of games these days are optimised for consoles first. Gone are the old days PC Master race versions, and then the console dumbed down versions. Consoles are the platform where the big money is. So often it’s the PC versions that get shortchanged.
My budget Laptop cost £600. That’s the best spec you can get for that money. And a further £70 upgrading to 16GB RAM. Total £670…
I’m personally fine with a budget laptop, because I play all my main games on PlayStation. Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero dawn, Days Gone.
A digital PS5 costs £350… Think about that. PS5 has Ray tracing capabilities and other advanced tech, and will be able to run games that my little laptop could only dream of running.
Like I said it’s price point and value for money cannot be beaten.
You can play at medium and low settings with good FPS.
