I have been digesting the news and trying to come up with a reply. So…ugh
My first thought of the news were like “Oh ok. Sounds like rubbish fan-fic”.
Now that I have seen the cover art, I’m thinking it is going to be one of those father daughter cute kind of things. Like she won’t actually be a super spy or agent. But more of a Father Dowling Mysteries, crime solving team up. And at some point Sam will be unable to complete a task and it will be up to Sarah to put her big girl knickers on and use his gear to save the world.
Adding Kobin in seems like a loophole. “Oh noes. We are stuck in some country without gear. What will we do?” Sam- “I know a guy.”
Although I defo would buy the book if it was on audio and Elias Toufexis narrates it.
I’ll probably purchase the book, just so I have a complete set. The details though make me think this novel will sit in my daily bag for reading when I am waiting for whatever.
All of that.Quote:

The next two novels still felt that way, but you could tell it was a completely different writer (at the time). The following novels seemed to get progressively further from what made the first few novels good. The latest just seemed like one long mission that was a reworked script for a side mission. There really were not that many plot twists or …I don’t know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I couldn’t feel the characters. They seemed so flat.
