Slight Buff Idea for Jormungandr
Jormungandr is a pretty solid character with good mixups, good stamina damage, super damaging chains, etc. However, I feel he is missing a few things that would really make him stand out as a very good character.
1. A few more bash mixups. I think that heavy starters should be soft-feintable into Jotunn grudge, similar to how conq's shield bash works. It should also have the guaranteed light it normally has on parry. Jotunn farewell should be chargeable to catch opponents trying to dodge early. Charging it wouldn't grant any extra effects except for hyper armor after you charge it to max.
2. Better hyper armor. Jormungandr has hyper armor on heavy openers and serpent smite, but i feel like both of these do little to nothing. Serpent smite should have near instant activation on the hyper armor, as it is one of the only tools Jormungandr has for getting closer to the opponent. Heavy openers would be a little bit too strong with instant hyper armor, though, so I think just making it 100ms faster would help.
3. More movement and closing distance. Jormungandr has basically no movement except for his awful serpent smite, which is supposed to close distance but rarely is able to. Serpent smite should be able to close distance better, similar to something like Centurion's eagle's fury. I also think giving him a dodge bash or basically any type of dodge attack would help a lot. I never understood why characters like Hitokiri and Jiang Jun can get dodge attacks and great movement, but Jormungandr gets absolutely nothing. Something similar to Shugoki's headbutt would be good, that way it is a decent dodge attack, but not super strong.
