Any word Ubisoft on the included OPTIONS?
All I want is OPTION to turn off health regeneration.
That’s it.
Bizarrely it was an option included in the FC5 map editor, but not the actual story campaign, which I thought was weird.
Thanks Joc !
Yes, well I do hope it’s an option at least. From the footage I’m seeing, it looks very very similar to FC5.
If I can just turn off regenerating health and have a more immersive experience — I’ll be happy.
It looks like the health regeneration is back and you also generate a free first aid kit. So if you didn't pickup any first aid kits and you have none, you wait a couple of seconds to get one for free.
If you can’t turn it off, I’ll pass on FC6.
I’m not that fussed about the game.
Health regeneration is such a game changing mechanic. It totally changes the way you play and approach combat. What’s more it kills much of the tension of combat, knowing you can duck behind a box and let your health shoot back up like your Wolverine.
Even when it’s activated more so outside of combat — its still a problem as it eradicates consequence and continuity and those tense moments navigating the game world wounded, searching for supplies, whilst trying to avoid contact with the enemy.
You wipe out thrilling gaming moments.
It’s a real shame.
