Assassin's Creed as MMO!
This is a reddit suggestion from three years ago:

What if they made it non canon and let you play as the Templars like DC Universe Online where you could choose heroes or villains where both factions have their own questline etc
You could also have two characters but they would have the same face after character creation like Altair and Desmond in AC1. One for the modern day and one for the Animus.
Modern day would be a hub of sorts where you can access the animus and not have it be open world because it would be mad to have two different games in one and have random Assassins or Templars running around a city doing parkour and drivebys.
There could be 3 different time periods and these time periods could have their own different countries and maps and storyline.
Your character would have the same face but different stats, gear, etc so you would essentially play as your own ancestor and your own character.
It could work well if they didn't make it an MMORPG like all those half assed anime tiddies games but rather an MMO with the detail and development of a real AC game but multiplayer focused instead.
Parkour and stealth would work greatly if done right too if they put some effort and thought into it.
And Players could create their own mini assassin brotherhood that would be present in all 3 time periods.
imo I like this idea and would play it so long as it isn't canon and in a different timeline then it's all good with me.
Honestly, to me this sounds absolutely amazing and I'd love to know what the community of AC thinks of something like this :)
Assassin's Creed as MMO or nat?
