It is as silent here as it has ever been and maybe, just maybe, that is also why some players feel they have to push said boundaries just to get a simple response because no amount of constructive criticism and ideas seem to trigger anything whatsoever - only the same old "we have passed it along". That gets old after the 10th repetition.
It was clear very early on that Breakpoint was struggling massively, but at no point did Ubisoft reach out except for with faceless surveys. Not once have players post-launch received any sort of insight into the thought process behind the game and its design, the vision behind it, the reasoning behind the decisions that were made. People who have been dedicated to this game since launch and to Ghost Recon as a whole long before that have paid a huge sum of money to support it, far more than most other AAA titles, not to mention all the time and toil invested by some incredibly creative and dedicated community members here on the forums. And this is the sort of support and community engagement they can expect for their efforts and hard-earned money? Locked threads and individuals banned for submitting jokes and giving voice to their frustrations?
It may very well be that some rules weren't respected and I know you community representatives only do your job, mean well and often take the brunt of the player frustrations. But it's also important to recognize and understand the cause of these frustrations. And until Ubisoft show commitment and takes their promises seriously, I don't think these frustrations will change.
