oof, i will kinda miss this one oddly enough i hope it isn't bad as ubisoft connect was to uplay
You can already see how it's going to be if you check out the Valhalla forums.
It will take some time to get used to I guess. I like the way it looks on desktop, and some of the new features are welcome, like the auto embedding we recently discussed here.
In memoriam for the current fora, some of my favorite threads:
Explaining item power continues to be useful.
Farming DZ resources without PvP - I might recreate this in the new forum.
Gotta love that Div 1 nostalgia
Putting the Eagle Bearer in the DZ was a hot topic.
Disappointed this idea never got picked up
The loot goblin is a serious threat in hardcore mode
Division X Just Dance
Thanks for posting this here for those who may have missed it, dagrommit!
If it ends up anything like the switch to Ubisoft connect, I expect lots of bugs and problems.
Not a fan of the new board.
Yeah...I checked out the Valhalla beta forums for the new style. Looks like it was designed to be read by kids used to reading crayon. That's probably Ubisoft's target audience anyway... :/
Guess that'll be a good excuse to abandon the "official" forums for reddit. It's not like there's a lot of official info posted here. Have to go to reddit/twitter for that anyway.
There doesn't seem to be anywhere to provide feedback on the forum design, so can you pass this suggestion on?
The vertical space taken up by each thread/post seems excessive, and requires a lot of scrolling on a full forum/thread list, especially when the tags and "official response" elements are present on multiple threads/posts.
Suggestion: Moving the "X posts and Y likes" elements up to the same section as the tags would improve this greatly.
The screenshot below shows a before and mocked-up "after":

Alternatively, move the "Official Response" element to the same row as the other tags.
